RHHS Marching Band 2008 USSBA National Champions

I LOVE THIS MARCHING BAND and i am so sad river hill no longer competes. i am proud to be an alum and a 4 year member. this marching band and Joseph Fischer changed my life. every time i see the hole in the sax line i think of you, Max. that entire season, everything we did was for you. that was your win and you were there with us every step of the way. i miss you, buddy. i will never forget when they announced that we won. we were all crying and it was one of the best moments of my life.

We will indeed be at Nationals. only a week and a half to wait, but that sadly means the end of the marching season.

This band definitely deserved it. I remember this was the band that our band (Jefferson Forest) started spectating some of the bands before we prepared. Our first time at nationals and you guys scared the crap out of us. Nice going.

HEY!!!! we just saw you at USSBA cental VA chap! i didnt get to see yalls show because we were in warm ups but yall beat havlock and they are a very strong band in NC so i thought it was very cool for yall to beat em, are yall going to nationals this year?

wow, my band (Cary High School Band) was at that comp (and we are going back again this year) but we were in 4A Open class, but im sorry i missed seeing you guys, that was really a great show :) best of luck this year

Great job River Hill! I hear next year will be different, but I'm sure it will be awesome. I think you have more courage than most to try a new direction. Can't wait to hear it!
