@someguyZERO Well, watch the next few episodes. But basically, the AE86 went from having a normal street engine to having a top of the line racing engine. About 3 - 4X as much HP and about double the torque at rpms over 7k. The new engine is designed to red line at 11Krpm

@someguyZERO the tachometer is just a VISUAL reading/limit. For example, putting a Toyota Corolla tach into a F1 car doesn't drop the max revs from 18,000 to 7,000, you just can't read it beyond 7,000 RPM

Damn these subtitles are so different from the originals i've seen, whats going on? They are way off where it counts, are these phony or are they more accurate? Their reactions to some of what they say doesn't make as much sense with these new subtitles. Funimation I am grateful for the quality of video of these but please don't try to fix what isn't broken by giving them subtitles that are more innacurate.

@jimmmyz169 Funimation is redoing and re-releasing this series that TokyoPop initially did. The subtitles that Funimation has done are more accurate by far, however, they are not as smooth as the reworking that TokyoPop did. In TokyoPop's subtitles, there where many points where I knew the Japanese, and what was translated to english is not what they said, but close, kinda, in a trying to make it more flowing sort of way.
