@TheJmorgan1994 its made for surfers. Think about it hes only pricing the wood to a surfboard. And whats different? the fact that you can ride this on land and no fins on it? And plus he uses HARDWOOD and have to understand that wood isnt cheap and making these boards are not easy at all. So the combination of the leigborh and the wood already being priced. i find his prices reasonable. Its not something you just want to try. If you buy it you have to ride it.

cool idea man, but curious how heavy are these boards? i made a small flatboard out of a few pieces of wood its 2 ft long but its so heavy its hard topush of flat ground, how is the ride when pushing since florida is pretty flat?

ridden them hard both ways and it works, a lil slippy if your feet are wet.

@PWNDbyCANADIANS & @HamBaconCheeseBlood - I don't push mongo but I guess it's more of a style issue than anything. The "scene" skaters these days are so obsessed with looks. With a Hamboard, who cares how you push? They look so damn cool and stylish that as long as YOU'RE not a robot, you'll do fine mongo as long as you don't do a big split and tear your groin muscles and rip your pants, THEN you'll look like an idiot. On the other hand, it doesn't take too long to break the bad habit of mongo.

There are no other production boards like Hamboards. I'm saving for one right now! I sent Pete an email and he responded back within 24 hours! ..and with a nice response detailing all aspects of the boards and he kindly answered all my questions about setups & pricing. In case you're still wondering, you definitely DO need the Original trucks; Pete says that no other trucks will work well for these boards; it would take the "surfy" feel away. I can't wait to ride my own Hamboard this summer!

rode the fish a few days ago, the board feels like it has more lean then you would ever want, and its super loose, it really feels like your surfing a fish when you have to stand on the tail when you dont want it to slide, ive also ridden a carver board before and while that may be more practical for commuting, this feels a ton more like surfing especially in the turns; there isnt any wheelbite although you can lean the board almost 45 degrees without trying

YO peeps I have this board and I have the fish it's the best longboard in the world the feel of it is just like a surfboard and the top is not grippy its actually smooth and waxy if u dont have the money u can go to 7th street surf shop in nj and thats where i got mine I paided 240$ cause it was used but in good shape and u can ride it before u get it too best thing I ever bought
