@rforracing Having ridden in both, I can say the Cobalt SS may not handle "as well", but the grip you get is much better. The Speed3 has better feel, but for the money, i'd take Cobalt SS. Mainly cuz it has better looks and the seats are to die for.

The SS motor is very strong, the suspension is top notch, the interior sucks besides the seats and shifter, but is livable, and I don't know anyone who has blown it up just driving. I own a 2009 Cobalt SS and although I love my car I believe that the spot really should have been reserved at the ZR1. I mean are you serious?! humble cobalt SS TC vs Audi ???thats overkill its not even in the same category. Cobalt SS has a great track, record, granted (hell thats why I buyed the car) But it is insane to comapre it to this other monsters. The only car that I could beat hands down its the mini so I guess am not in the bottom of the food chain
disagree... RX-7 can easily be downed by the SS.. It's got way better handling than the original supercharged version, and the no-lift shift helps my minimizing lost boost in between shifts... I think in Car and Driver it was 8th out of 22, beaten by cars with massive amounts more horsepower with the exception of the Lexus IS-F

Handling doesn't mean fast or power or numbers. Handling means feel and driver to mechanics communication. There are plenty of front wheel drive cars that have excellent handling. In terms handling, I'd rather have a well balanced 150HP FWD car than a poor communicating, sloppy 800HP RWD car. Yes, the M3 does communicate better but that doesn't mean the Cobalt is bad at it. It's not great either but there's by far worse.
@kregzdeM3 The SS is handles surprisingly well. My buddy has one with just a tune a downpipe and charge piping, and it corners better at 150 than most cars do at 55. Chevy made a helluva car in the SS. Its nothing like the base Balt.

corvette is a nervous car that needs a lot of skill to drive to get the best out of it, take two average drivers put them in a Corvette and a GT-R take em to Laguna Seca, GT-R will win or a lot of the other cars in the comparo.

I would be surprised if it didn't, its got tires 2 times as wide and weights almost nothing. The Gtr is amazing because it cost half the price and has so many disadvantages when compared, like less power, engine 2 times smaller, heavy, bigger, not as wide, Yet it still sits right on the zr1's ass, and only lost like 2.5sec around the Ring. Thats what makes it amazing, and first of all the gtr was made to compete against the 911 turbo, if they wanted to beat the zr1 they would have.
2.5 second isnt a lot when a lab (nurb) takes about 9 minutes. I hate to agree, the zr1 AND the gtr kick some serious ass. Both are fast and are pure masterpiece of engineering.

I own a 2009 Cobalt SS and although I love my car I believe that the spot really should have been reserved at the ZR1. I mean are you serious?! humble cobalt SS TC vs Audi ???thats overkill its not even in the same category. Cobalt SS has a great track, record, granted (hell thats why I buyed the car) But it is insane to comapre it to this other monsters. The only car that I could beat hands down its the mini so I guess am not in the bottom of the food chain

disagree... RX-7 can easily be downed by the SS.. It's got way better handling than the original supercharged version, and the no-lift shift helps my minimizing lost boost in between shifts... I think in Car and Driver it was 8th out of 22, beaten by cars with massive amounts more horsepower with the exception of the Lexus IS-F

Handling doesn't mean fast or power or numbers. Handling means feel and driver to mechanics communication. There are plenty of front wheel drive cars that have excellent handling. In terms handling, I'd rather have a well balanced 150HP FWD car than a poor communicating, sloppy 800HP RWD car. Yes, the M3 does communicate better but that doesn't mean the Cobalt is bad at it. It's not great either but there's by far worse.

@kregzdeM3 The SS is handles surprisingly well. My buddy has one with just a tune a downpipe and charge piping, and it corners better at 150 than most cars do at 55. Chevy made a helluva car in the SS. Its nothing like the base Balt.

In terms of handleing any mustang would absoulotley be completley unpredictible they cant even get the drivetrain right and theirs hardley any traction and the mustangs suspension is unaceptable i will point out clearly though that the mustang can not handle ok its no a track car no where near a track car it could even keep up with a civic on a widy road any one of these cars in this handalling test could embaress this poor qaulity prehistoric mustang known as the shelby gt500kr.

i don't know y mustang says that mustang can handle. The brakes are terrible, the suspension is ridiculous, and the thing understeers like hell. The shelby and the roush is very good to be honest. especially roush handles beautifully. but the standard mustang... i don't know,handles better than a tractor i think

I would be surprised if it didn't, its got tires 2 times as wide and weights almost nothing. The Gtr is amazing because it cost half the price and has so many disadvantages when compared, like less power, engine 2 times smaller, heavy, bigger, not as wide, Yet it still sits right on the zr1's ass, and only lost like 2.5sec around the Ring. Thats what makes it amazing, and first of all the gtr was made to compete against the 911 turbo, if they wanted to beat the zr1 they would have.

Well I did and it states that adults can test drive. Your 17 years old so that means your a minor which also means your not an adult. Plus lets say you did test drive the 370Z and the Mustang. I highly doubt the Nissan dealer let anyone test drive the 370Z well simply because the 370Z just came out last month and the dealers dont have enough of them except a few for the showrooms.
