@abehammy yes it is! I know bcos I am the guy at the end in the bowling scene. Never accepted my FB friend request though..so maybe he wants to forget this commercial!
The WaMu where I live was signing up these illegal alien day laborers for home loans. I recognized the very same guys I would see in front of the Home Depot. Some would be signing for $500,000.00 loans while they were covered in grass shavings from mowing someone's lawn. All those loans defaulted, and we are now paying the price.
forgot about this one. i like the ones with the chimpanzees running the company. when the chimp walks in the room with a thing of bubble paper and then starts rolling on it and then the only human worker was like "can you go do that somewhere else?..............seriously."
So... Paul has defaulted on his loan... Obama rescued him and forgave half of his balance and all the employees at WaMu lost their retirement plans paying for half of Pauls mortgage. And Paul is still happy cuz he worked the system. Where is Kerry Killinger?
looking for the other two commercials like this one--asian woman where house falls apart and the man who's walking across a bridge and it falls apart and it hits the side of the mountain. They have accidents but stay positive just like in this commercial.
Yeah. The orientals stay positive as they apply for a loan they could never pay back. Freaking minorities and their desire for material goods is ruining this country. Now Obammy is paying for these irresponsible louts with money from hard working people. Utterly disgusting.
Wamu didn't go under because of offering free perks on bank accounts. They went under because of subprime lending. There are many other banks that offer free perks and are doing just fine.
W/M plays commercials all the time in Central Florida! They went under, got bought out by Chase and still advertise all their "free" junk. Even though that's what put them out of business in the first place! And people still trust them with their money!
I really liked your channel and this video. If you need any help getting this video exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. Its nice.
I had ~9700 points. I spent over $1000 to get my point summary over 10,000 so that i could qualify for a 3% interest rate reduction. My points after was over 10k so I called Wamu to let them know. They said I should get a letter saying that the 3% reduction was processed. So i checked back a month later and my points it was only 9600 points. I never got the deal.. What should i do??? Can I sue Wamu. There is no expiration of points on my consumer agreement. Its $1=1point.
I think it's interesting how the rank and file soldiers that were kicked to the side say they were only following orders while the (SS) commanders keep their positions with JP Morgan (Craig Clark). Al Qaida should lay down their arms and simply become bankers - it's obviously more effective than terrorism.
This is almost as funny as when The New York Times published the Bush administration's propaganda about Iraq, which led us into a war that killed 150 thousand Iraqi civilians.
Yes this is one in a line of advertising blunders by Wamu. Anybody recall their "Whoo Hoo!" ad campaign? Nicely done Wamu, you half-wits architects of the largest bank failure in american history. Woo hoo indeed!
This is really funny in retrospect. Now we can see WAMU actually advertised there "FLEXIBLE" lending practices. LMFAO This going to make me smile for a week.
Congratulations Paul! Because you make $20,000 a year and got a variable rate loan on a $400,000 house, our economy is screwed!! Thanks Barney Frank you faggot!
Isn't it funny that even though there are lots of big serious forums where you can discuss the economic crisis, people still seem to think that the best place for their discussion is the comment space of an old commercial on youtube?
People just need to calm down. The reason WAMU went under is because people panicked because of the economy, if they would only "breath" and not panick, the economy would do so much better - a panick is what starts a depression - so just RELAX! (a WAMU customer who didn't panick)
Sorry, but you are so very dead wrong. Do you not understand that there are 10,000 new foreclosures *PER DAY*??
That is to say, ten thousand Americans are losing their homes --- DAILY. The problems we are having have nothing in the world to do with the panic of the average citizen - they have to do with the fact that multi-hundred-billion dollar assets - based on those mortgages going into foreclosure - are now worthless.
And you are even more wrong. Wamu was no small company. It had plenty of money to cover those bad loans and then some. Wamu was overtaken cause it was a run on the bank cause people panicked. People took money from financial institutions then wonder why the economy cant get better. People and the media in general are ingorant about how the economy works.
i dont understand you guys, a bank lend you money so that you can live in a house that you desire. trust you that you can pay them back and you are still upset. if they dont let you have the loan that you need, you're still upset.
i dont understand you guys, a bank lends you money so that you can live in a house that you desire. trust you that you can pay them back and you are still upset. if they dont let you have the loan that you need, you're still upset.
Um, no one who banked with Washington mutual lost money since JP Morgan Chase is backing everyone's deposits. People who played their cards right got a good deal.
That was a pretty pathetic comment, you know nothing about FDIC do you? I'm a WAMU customer in CA, I wasn't fearful at all, I've been through numerous banking takeovers, hasn't affected me one iota. There were people who acted like those in "It's a Wonderful Life" pulling out their money, but these are people who don't understand what insurance is about - FDIC, way back when, FDIC didn't exist.
LOL calm down. I'm familiar with the FDIC from my criminal law courses since bank robberies fall under federal jurisdiction due to banks be federally insured. Unfortunately your comment is somewhat naive as well. To say that its customer weathered the storm unscathed is untrue. Tell it to the shareholders.
Yey! Millions of people like him just made my bank die. Actually, its not there fault. Most of them could origionally afford these loans easily. When times are bad, everything goes to hell. Burn!!!!
credit card companies, and other greedy fucks have caused more damage to my life than any drug, drink, or other event could cause. has helped wreck my marriage, drink more, no time with kids, depression, sleepless nights because of impossible to pay back loans. i pay my bills every month but because i'm self employed they are late sometimes. balance never goes down and these fuckers control my life. fuck you assholes, don't beat a man when he's already down. have fun on your yachts cuz i pay 4 it
Washington Mutual SUCKS! They are rude, have no customer service. My daughter lost her debit card in Egypt. They didn't offer any help. We have a joint account, I had to fight to put a hold on the account, they wouldn't rush a card to her, two of the pin numbers didn't work, while I was on the phone to their customer service at the branch, the manager told me to go sit at another desk because there was nothing they could do to help me. THEY SUCK.

WAMU says it is free checking but the it is realy fee checking they $32 you 4 time for only bounceing 1 item they lie on the phone tell you that i would only get 1 $32 fee for ounceing they looked at my account. and charged me 4 of them what a lieing cheating and stealing bank.

Currently in the US forecloses are at a high.
So much the Banks are overwhelmed and they are now bowing willing to renegotiate loans to curb foreclosure.
They are not even considering your FICO because they already know the financial issues most Americans are experiencing.
Keep your home get the facts act before your insolvent.
