Some of these comments are kinda funny. The truth is that we dont know what it was, but trying to figure out logical explanations like the missile theory is a lot more constructive than aliens or energy weapons.

How? I personally don't subscribe to any theory. But how aren't aliens or energy weapons logical. The probability of there being aliens is damn near infinite and the likelihood of there being energy weapons is problem beyond either of our comprehensions. But when you don't know what something is, the first thing you want to have is an open mind. People don't give a damn about things like this because they don't understand most of these things even in their simplest forms.

Well, the noise can be explained by the fact it is so far away. And the lack of movement could be from that effect you get while driving. things in the distance move slower. But by all means, what the heck is this?

This I will call phenomenon is static and non moving where as a missle would be moving in an erratic manner. This is a completely conisistent spiraling motion. If you watch it over and over you will see. Also missles go up not parralel to the ground

I don't believe the missile but I don't think it's aliens. I think it was a new sort of technology that was accidentally revealed. I think the missile story is a cover up.
