@TheEsotericDesi In short, nobody like to re-invent the wheels. The Chinese did some research and testing and make the trains go faster and smoother than the trains they purchased from Japanese, German and Swedish trains. Of Course, probably the idiot like you know nothing...want to just put comments on youtube.com without doing research or may be the idiot like you want to re-invent the wheels.Be my guess go ahead,see how far you can go, I bet you will end up copy from the original machine.
@TheEsotericDesi By the way, the Chinese paid billions of dollars to the Japanese, German and Swedish companies of those know-how. Who want to re-invent the wheels when there are many high speed trains in the world and they are worked fine...and the Chinese engineers and research teams make them work better and faster.... and you said it is copying. Then there are plenty of copying in the world....not just the Chinese.
@DesertHamster - You are correct, if the train ran into a wall. Which does bring up an interesting question. Will America be safe with bullet trains @ 350kph traveling on rails that can be easy targets for wackos. I keep cringing when i remember news stories about kids dropping large rocks over highway over passes onto windshields.
Put some dimples on it like a golf ball like they did on Myth Busters, it will travel through the air with less resistance or drag. Can't wait to see something like that here in the US.
The fastest rail system would be one in which maglev technology is incorporated but at the same time having a tunnel system set in a vacuum to avoid shock waves. This would allow for faster then sound travel. Imagine traveling faster then a supersonic aircraft (Concord) from NY to LA in under an hour.
@DesertHamster Fighter pilots who go faster then the speed of sound have no problem. You can't have sudden acceleration or deceleration, this would cause high positive and negative G forces.
Have you anymore of those Kawasaki train clips?
I'm a fan of the R110. Can you bring that back?

Notanerd102 8 months ago

My only question is how are you going to keep everyone safe when overseas.

@frankcoffee wouldn't the acceleration/deceleration squish your internal organs?(genuine question)
