LOL!!!!!!! LOL stands for Laugh Out Loud! I have a USA Wii I buyed it from Target and I have the cooking mama cook off for wii!!!!! How did cooking mama was in the game?
the PC and PSP versions will work without modding anything with a hacked PSP you could play even the PS1 version but all the rest will need modded consoles to play here in England
You're still a bit low. There are about 50,000 kanji plus a few 10,000s more of extremely obscure kanji.
To the previous guy: the 2,000 you speak of are the Jōyō kanji that Japanese students learn. There's quite a shitton more that most (Japanese) people don't really know or use.
...although the game can hardly be called a simulation game, despite it taking place in a realistic scenario. The gameplay itself is very arcade-oriented and tests the players reflexes and math (assessing time, speed and distance.) People who are fascinated with trains but don't care about the mundane details will probably like the series.
I doubt it. There hasnt been one for ANY of the other versions of this series. Altho i too wish I could play this. I got the PC version of one of the other Lets go by Train games and it works fine on any language PC. Problem with the Wii (or any other console game) is the NTSC and PAL settings and region coding.. :(
Taito's "Let's go by Train" and "Let's go by Airliner" are both very popular games in Japan. The challenge in any sim game is to complete the tasks that would be apparent in the real life situation. Keeping on schedule, navigating, maintaining speed, etc. It might not be a game for you, but lots of people like these games.
written as follows about "Real mode". [Real mode] Can enjoy the operation similar to the reality if switch to "Real mode ON" in Preferences. (Default is OFF) [Real mode ON] *without previous notice *entrust automatic brake by ATC. score is not decreases. *necessary confirm ATC30 before the stop. [Real mode OFF] *score is decreases when work automatic brake by ATC. *unnecessary confirm ATC30 before the stop. When "Real mode ON" is completely conquered, I want to challenge "Real mode OFF". :)

"This thing gonna work on the USA Wii?"
No. Despite what others here may have said, Nintendo Wiis are NOT region-free. You'd need to buy a Japanese one.

Anybody know if the scenery and track layout images in this game are of the actual right of way or is it fictional?
b111791 5 years ago
Just like the real. However, mountain zone (full of tunnels) was considerably omitted.
I can't stop grinning if playing "free-run mode" while seeing [The Bullet Train "NOZOMI" (with sub)] in YouTube simultaneously.
Can find many many coinciding points.
"That is this! it also! also! also! also!" XD

My 2nd experience to buy "Densha de Go!" series. 1st is "Densha de Go! 2 (1999)" on PlayStation.
The player becomes very nervous and tired by playing past versions. I think they ware suitable for "Densha Otaku" factual.
I like to see Shinkansen. But I'm not "Densha Otaku". I felt awkward and gave up to play soon.
But, Wii version feels very fine. ATC (Automatic Train Control) assist to me very very well when switch to "Real mode ON" in Preferences.
And I diverts myself by "Kids mode" also fun.

Anyone played this? Is this game any good or do you think one would get bored in about of week?
