i just wish that all these tuts that want to show you how to hide bags and dark circles and such would have models that have those issues so we can actually see make-up products addressing those issues. not people with high cheekbones, etc

@reinhart7500 that's just the texture of her skin. my skin looks like that under bright light as well. if you notice, many darker skinned women have that sort of texture.

@MSmocha316 Just look for the same type of product. Look at tons of reviews, usually people compare the drugstore products to high-end products. Maybelline and Rimmel London are really good alternatives to high-end. And surprisingly, ELF's Studio line is amazing, but make sure to look at the reviews of people with similar skin tone and type.

I'm on a limited budget too, though I could live at Sephora. Like I said, tons of reviews and research to find things similar. I know it's frustrating to think you can't find a quality dupe, but they're out there.

This is a very pretty and simple look- however, the five minutes doesn't account for the thousands of us who need more than a dash of concealer under the eyes! You'd have to add another 4 mins or so for me- I need a proper base with foundation and concealer- blemish and undereye- and I need to set it properly with powder or it will last approximately one hour! Also many of us have to add extra trime to draw in or enhance our brows. Therefore not really a 5 minute look, sorry JMO!

it's like the makeup ads, airbrushed. :( but it's advertising. if they look that good, then it must make you look that great!! but no such luck. my thing is, if steroids is illegal for athletes, then photoshop and airbrushing should be illegal for models. :)
