When gauging your ears (going from an 8g to a 6g or anything for that matter) you're supposed to use STAINLESS STEEL plugs, and not soft or organic materials. That's probably why your holes are sticking to the skin and stinking. ;)

the holes stink no matter what.. have nothing to do with what you use to keep them open. the biggers the holes, the more they stink... just keep them clean and they wont!

did you mean stinking or sinking? because as your ears get used to a gauge, they are more likely to start falling out. also, on the "stinking" bit, wood plugs do NOT smell, ever! i have 7/16" wood plugs, and they never smell, even when i take it out and smell the actual plug!

OHHHH! I thought she said "sticking"! The skin does stick to organic plugs when going through the healing process after a stretch, so the smell can't really be avoided for the time being! I'm not able to use wooden plugs for now, so thanks for the tip, kim! :)

you look great i bangs but you need to shape the top of them by the roots to make it look like a V or U shape, when i first cut my bangs i did the same thing you did, had them too wide even. I had to let my hair grow out and cut them again correctly.
