I think all those guys were a bit rough on him. It was the ultimate warrior that got me into wrestling when I was young. I was mesmerised by the guy. Through the eyes of a kid he was like some kind of mysterious superhuman animal thing. The interviews/promo's he did just enhanced that further for me.

Ultimate Warrior would make all of the wrestlers of today look sick except for Sheamus with regards to intensity. Sheamus is the only wrestler I have seen inawhile that shows real intensity and integrity when he fights.
I was a teen during that time. I didn't watch wrestling until I saw this guy. Then I was hooked. The muscle bound rockstar outer space guy who could bench any other opponent was appealing to me. When this guy lifted someone over his head, that put him on the map. But of course, I grew up and all that childish stuff just kind of stayed in the past. Lol.

I think all those guys were a bit rough on him. It was the ultimate warrior that got me into wrestling when I was young. I was mesmerised by the guy. Through the eyes of a kid he was like some kind of mysterious superhuman animal thing. The interviews/promo's he did just enhanced that further for me.

Ultimate Warrior didn't make sense but he was INTENSE.
Ultimate Warrior would make all of the wrestlers of today look sick except for Sheamus with regards to intensity. Sheamus is the only wrestler I have seen inawhile that shows real intensity and integrity when he fights.

I was a teen during that time. I didn't watch wrestling until I saw this guy. Then I was hooked. The muscle bound rockstar outer space guy who could bench any other opponent was appealing to me. When this guy lifted someone over his head, that put him on the map. But of course, I grew up and all that childish stuff just kind of stayed in the past. Lol.

His snort at 4.53 is off the scale awesome. An absolute monster. WWE needs a character like this again but only better. It needs a new Goldberg that just destroys everyone and talks like this. A wrestler that can keep the Title for more than 5 minutes and remain undefeated for years. Put some prestige back into the belt that has been lost.

don't believe me? check out any episode of saturday nights main event, where jesse ventura interviews a wrestler back stage: jessie can be seen accidently mouthing everything the wrestler is saying, as jessie has memorized the script and is running down the lines awaiting his own lines. bret hart was guilty of mouthing other peoples lines back then as well.
