This game is fantastic, don't let the bad reveiws put you off. It is quite short, and not completely pollished in some aspects, but completely epic and entertaining all the way!

how the hell this answers my previous post? id put it this way in prince of Persia and half life... linear games there is some progress some story..something to make you keep playing.. but in assassin creed and far cry 2 is the same thing all over... so after a while you say ill play again later.. but in linear games.. you keep going till the end!

It really depends on what kind of games you like, i mean i loved GTA IV, and so did a load of other ppl, the main reason i liked it was because of the gameplay, sure it was short, but it was fun, the graphics were great, and it had a strong story, but then again i don't really have anything to say about alone in the dark as i haven't tried it yet. It all really depends on plot, story, graphics, gameplay and what not when it comes down to ratings XD
ok gta iv defently doesnt worth 10 but its right and what it does eg all those features and so well done, unlike outher games like just cause and driver 4 with retard driving and shooting, however they overdoing it with reallistic driving in gta iv, it has nice features eveything works right, the map aint as big as san andreas, "crying" and last complain compared to outher games the story is kinda borring, not much action, some times to real and kills the fun, but again mercs 2 is kinda broken!

Yes but if Bethesda's games keep devolving at the rate Oblivion was dumbed down from Morrowind or Morrowind from Daggerfall... they won't be good for long. okay i respect that you like bioshock but, gears of war is awesome, yea i know the first one had a simple storyline but if you play gears of war 2 the storyline is amazing, and you say retard combat? come on you can take cover, chainsaw kills, meat sheild and executions. and you also say guns suck? dude, a machine gun with a chainsaw attached to it? thats the best weapon ever!

every time you stand up and the screen is turn red, the character is bleeding, and the view is shaking, duh whats the point? stand up bleed, take cover heal up and shoot em again. nah.. as for storyline plz the way they add story and characterazation in gears 2 is strognly looks riddiculus, because in gears 1 there was none, that appeareance of that element is just like they change the style, its more funny than epic, as for guns, why cant we use some normal guns? the locust gun.. piff

lets see you character in gears of war is the most shotted character ever, so the cover idea is stupid, you stand up shoot and at the same time your character is getting shotted and its impossible to get a stable view because the shots make him shake all the time so when every outher game that you take cover HAS A MEANING TO DO SO, to take cover stand up shoot and take cover again without gwtting shotted EVERY time you stand up, well gears sucks i rather play quantum of solace!

It really depends on what kind of games you like, i mean i loved GTA IV, and so did a load of other ppl, the main reason i liked it was because of the gameplay, sure it was short, but it was fun, the graphics were great, and it had a strong story, but then again i don't really have anything to say about alone in the dark as i haven't tried it yet. It all really depends on plot, story, graphics, gameplay and what not when it comes down to ratings XD

ok gta iv defently doesnt worth 10 but its right and what it does eg all those features and so well done, unlike outher games like just cause and driver 4 with retard driving and shooting, however they overdoing it with reallistic driving in gta iv, it has nice features eveything works right, the map aint as big as san andreas, "crying" and last complain compared to outher games the story is kinda borring, not much action, some times to real and kills the fun, but again mercs 2 is kinda broken!

its really worth a try, I mean there is something new, not all that alien and human shit...a war with mythological creatures. Shame that some people are so short minded. Besides, this is alpha footage, it will improve. I really don't care what people will say a bout it being just anther FPS that will fail, I will most definitely play it because it IS original.

Yes but if Bethesda's games keep devolving at the rate Oblivion was dumbed down from Morrowind or Morrowind from Daggerfall... they won't be good for long. I hope Bethesda starts improving the depth instead of the graphics or gameplay for a while... Morrowind was so much better than Oblivion when it came to freedom and RPGing.
