When I was playing with this game, I use to beat Dracula in almost half the time and with less hassle. There's actually a better and faster way to hit Dracula then jumping up all the time. If you get your angles right, you can hit him diagonally up to 3 times per appearance and still block his attack by dangling the whip on the last hit. Give it a try some time.

@jenningsslayer314 Those roman numerals stand for the "double shot" and the "triple shot" respectively. They basically affect the throwing speed of your equipped sub-weapon. Which means that you'll simply be able to throw more than one sub-weapon at a time. For example, like in this video, the player had the cross sub-weapon. Without any power up you can only throw one and then you'd have to wait until the sub-weapon leaves the screen in order to throw another.

@jenningsslayer314 Now.....with that being said, the double shot allows you to throw 2 crosses, one after the other, and the triple shot would let you throw 3. It works with any sub-weapon, and its a really useful strategy for bosses, particularly Dracula, because if you time 3 cross throws at just the right time, you can do some major damage to the Count without having to attack him directly, and it also lets you to defend yourself from the attacks old Drac is throwing at you. Hope that helps.

Instead of having forms this boss has phases based on his health. Unfortunately, half-way through he enters the phase where he starts sending out Will-o-Wisps which drop turkey legs if you kill them (thus removing a good portion of the difficulty).
