great lineup....I used to play with founding member John Dugan (Sax) does any one know what became of John?? I know he guested out in LA some years ago..
The video is awful (can only be a normal VHS at SLP) but clear enough for the internet. What impressed me, besides the Toasters and 'Little Jacob' there of course, was the quality of the audio. Rarely have I heard such quality from a live album. That had to be a DAT recorder, am I right? Thank you so much for posting this, do you have the rest of the set? We'd all love to see the whole thing I'm sure. Five stars.
Yea this comes from an old VHS tape that was in Bucket's basement for over 20 years...tape degrade pretty quickly. The audio comes straight from the tape as well. Nothing else. I have the entire show, yes. We will probably be posting them on our own website after a while.
this video is pure gold, i wish coolie was still in the band, around the time of dub 56 was definitely the best time to see them, but they still kick so much ass
I saw the toasters recently in DC and Baltimore and I just want everyone to boycott the rams head live. the toasters arent the same as with coolie ranx but damn they still skank it up check myspace dot com slash cameraperson more ska
That's because that is Coolie Ranx, this was the first time he joined the band, right before they went to Europe to tour when the Frankenska LP was recorded.
coincidence with sublime?

When Lionel was in the band, City Gardens was the place, and alternative meant more than one thing.
