"I certainly don't advocate anyone taking the law into their own hands. I don't think that the film advocates that, either. If my films have a lesson, it's that violence doesn't pay. My opinion is that violence only breeds violence." -Charles Bronson
The little girl with the balloon at the beginning: I hope she's proud of her work and prolly was disturbed when she learned what the movie was about when she got older, haha
@MrFree2view tough one. it's a total 50/50 draw, but if I had to place a bet, it would probably go to Harry Callahan, simply due to his police training and his .44 magnum. But then again, Paul Kersey has an inner-drive for taking out the scum of the earth, so I'm sure it would be close. Now the real question is WHO'S COOLER - CHUCK NORRIS, PAUL KERSEY, HARRY CALLAHAN, OR General Maximus Decimus Meridius?
I wish Charles Bronson (RIP) would team up with Clint Eastwood in a movie if he didnt had his hip replacement surgery back in 1998,which is why the reason he retired from acting & later died from Alzheimers disease in 2003,i feel sad through his life when i read his biography
I saw this movie when I was a junior in high school. It sure served its purpose. It had a message in there that was designed to make you mad at criminals, and it did! Anyway, it was a good sequel although the rape scene of the maid was particular brutal. This movie made me personally want to go out and buy a gun and begin eridicating criminals on the spot when I first saw it. But remember, I was only like 16 years old at the time!
If only Bronson were alive today, I would have love to see more sequels of Death Wish, having him go against international terrorists, religious fundamentalists, marketing scammers, etc.
I finally found out what this film is called after wondering for almost a decade! Saw it on TV when I was a kid and the scene where some guys kidnap a lady and then rape her, before she runs away and helplessly jumps to her death by impaling herself on railings...IT HAS HAUNTED ME SINCE!
I never get tired of the Death Wish movies. Charles Bronson is the king. Rapists, murderers etc need to know what's coming to them. Vincent Gardenia who plays NY Det. Ochoa and a thorn on Kersey's side was awesome too. Yeah, he's a prick in the DW movies but that's what makes him memorable.
awsome movie i loved this movie and i also loved all the other death wish movies CHARLES BRONSON WAS GREAT in these and he still remains one of my favorite actors
This film was released when I was a junior in high school(1981). The most enraging part for me was the brutal rape scene of the maid and then the death of his daughter. I greatly anticipated this film after seeing and loving the first one. Nice trailer!

Any reason why Kersey looks different compared to the other Death Wish movies? He looks like a burglar in this installment...
