Hi there - I never bought SW Gentle Giant stuff before ... but seeing this and there will be the Life - Size GG Captain Rex on the market I am very tempting to buy it.

So how is the quality and does the hand stay tight - because it is quite an investment and I don't want to be dissapointed. Also the Rex model on the available photos don't show the upperleg armor.

I don't know if you are familiar with it GG , but what can you tell about their detailing and accuracy?

The same company also made a life size Yoda in the same animated style as this Leia. I know he is one of your favorites.

The Yoda was also a limited edition of 1000, and I think it sold for around $450 or so. I don't know if they are all sold out or not though.

Yes, I got a tattoo of this statue on my upper right arm. I got the tattoo back in January.

I've added a link in the description to a picture of my tattoo.

The tattoo was done by an artist in Athens Ga named Sergio. He's a really cool guy, and a huge SW fan himself. He is eventually going to give me a SW quarter sleeve tattoo that will take multiple sittings and wrap all the way around my arm. We plan to video him doing the tattoo and post it on here for all you guys to see.

Yes, the way the right hand attaches really does suck. I already did what I said in the video and used some caulk to hold it in place, and it worked nicely. Gentle Giant could have done a much better job with the way the hands go on.
