Funny, the girl is from Monster World IV (only released in Japan), and the background is from the 3 on SMS :)

@alvin4351 the real game is for sega mega and its called Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap. U can get emulator for pc and play it. :) I do it now and its a very funny game.

The character in Monster World 3 is referred to as Shion, but I always gathered it was a different Wonder Boy. In the manual of Wonder Boy in Monster Land, he's referred to as Bock Lee Temjin (AKA Tom Tom), and Wonder Boy III follows on directly from that.
