Great vid man. Always curious how fast this thing will go, but adittingly dont have the balls to try it. Im a 24 year old male and prowdly drive one of these. There's nothing feminine about going 0-60 in 6.3 seconds. If your can find me an SUV with that kind of acceleration that also gets 27 mpg on the highway in this price range...let me know.

I have a 2010 Rav4 ltd. V6 awd. I have a long list of 1/4 mile victims including-- Merc. Benz c300, Hemi jeeps and Rams,Tiguans, non turbo Porshe Cayenne V8, Land Rover LR3,Hyundai Tucson,Mazda RX8 automatic,Nissan Muranos, Buick Enclave,all the VW's,a few BMW 3's, etc.etc. - I do not know how accurate G-Tech meters are-- but I have G-teched 0-60's as low as 6.2 sec. and 1/4 miles always 14.7- 15.1 sec. bone stock with synthetic oil. That is better than my 1993 Mustang 5 liter - very nice

i have a 2008 rav4 v6 and let me tell you they are fast! i would have never thought they would be as fast as they are. I have a K&N air filter in mine and it does add a lot of bottom end power to the motor, if you have one of these cars try the air filter swap, you will be impressed.

my mothers is a little old, an 06 but it looks pretty much teh same on the dash except in MPH.

the car is pretty much impossible to wreck as well. the AWD system keeps the car going straight on the slippiest roads. downhill descent control helps real well in the winter.

my only complaint is the seats aren't comfortable for really long rides, eveyday driver its awesome though

@prowler10393 LOL, the Rav4 is nice but it's not impossible to wreck. The stability control isn't even all that great, it turns the car into a total brick and forces understeer.

As for long rides...I've driven 6 hours towing a trailer to Nevada, and it was fine. Maybe you just needed to fiddle with your seat setting a bit.

this car is just a beast in snow. when i say impossible to wreck i didn't mean litterally. the car has understeer because it's AWD, which makes it front heavy like 90% every other everyday vehicles with AWD. The car is just an amazing everyday driver year round.

It's quite a deal for what it is.

@prowler10393 2007, and I tow a motorcycle trailer with 2 bikes on it. Maybe 1400 lbs max. Does a fine job up the Sierra mountains.

The understeer from the stability control is not because it's FWD, it's because the system hits the brakes and cuts the power when it detects a slide. No car can hold a line with the brakes applied and power cut.

i've had my mom's rav 4 v6 up to 135MPH and was still pulling but ran out of road....those cars aren't nothing to sneeze at. they freaking run.

if it was turbo charged and cammed differently those things would be absolute rockets

Thats wierd, it looks like it cuts at 139, but they actually cut at 129 mph, because the H rated tires on them are rated for 130mph, most cars speedometer tend to start lying after a certain speed, but anyways, i really cant believe how fast those ravs are, its kinda rediculous, and how old is the person whom owns this car? seems like a young guy, and i dont know any young guy that would want to be seen in one of these, no matter how fast it is

ya i own the this 2008 rave4 v6,im 32..but drive like im 18,i am not embarassed of my vehicle,ive owned many cars like trans ams firebirds camaros and i also have a Acura Legend 3.2 v6 right now,and they dont beat my rave...my acura might top end tho?

i also have a KTM duke,trying to upload some crazy vids of wheelies and stuff thru trafic and passing trackertrailers on one wheel,but i cant tranfer it to my PC i lost my software,someday ill upload them eventualy!

the highway to the city is where i speed,i know my highway like the back of my hand,theres 2 spots where the cops can hide,so i make sure its in between those spots where i speed, alot of the times theres not even 1 car on the highway,aslong as its not around traffic hours,that is the only place where i realy trust to try my vehicles out

I have the sport edition with 18'' aluminum powder coated rims,the tires are original,and are Geolandar...

I rather the drive of the 16" for comfort,but the 18" handles and hugs the road bit better.

at top speed of almost 220KMS,if i let it shift into Overdrive,the RPM revs drop under 4000,this is only in 4th gear. ITS SICK!

with some performance parts added and Chip to let go as fast as it can without cutting out this would be an even meaner vehicle,cause its stock and already faster then alot of cars

go to Toyota and ask them to for a test drive,try both 4cy and V6,ive tried many SUV's honda/acura/nissan/mercedes ect,none performed like Rav4 v6,once you try it its not hard to see.

ya its top speed because it cuts out,but im sure it will go faster,it stops there because of limited electronic governer..

there is probably a chip to fix that, my Rav4 is stock with no aftermarket parts,eventualy ill get the K&N air filter and couple things.
