What a boring old fart! Unions the bulwark of Democracy? In the 60's and 70's you couldn't get into the best paying unions unless you were related to a member. The unions handed over the auto industry to Toyota.

The rich run everything, they always have and always will. Chomsky knows this. He has no solutions. It's every man for himself. Only hard work, education, discipline and common sense, getting out of debt and spending less than you make allows you to live comfortably, now or then.

Small taxes are good for Big Business, not for the average American. That's why the "low taxes" are lobbied by the corporations. if you would have higher taxes you could afford better health care and education, which would be free. Most of the funding would come from the corporations, which now benefit from low taxes earning millions. In the end result you would have more money because you wouldn't spend it on health and education.

@seezarorest Taxes in America on corporations and individuals are very high compared to most nations. lower taxes encourage growth and give people more to spend and more jobs can be created, benefiting the poor and wealthy alike.

That's why there is generally higher standards of living and less poverty and homelessness, better infrastructure, universal healthcare, and so on in those other countries.

The "911 truth" movement has been effectively marginalized, making their claims irrelevant, whether true or not. At the same time, the crimes governments and international corporations have committed OUT IN THE OPEN are just as murderous and illegal, but not nearly as speculative or controversial.

Well, thanx 2 YT I can't even retrieve or read my own comment, but I think I recall, and Mr. C, is part of the same group that is designing, implementing and executing these crimes, he is just another arm of the octopus, the controlled opposition, if you control both sides of the isle you can actually make people think they have a say, or even create heroes, all in the peoples eye. Propagandized by the controlled media, and accepted as truth.

I'm willing to entertain the hypothesis that Chomsky is "part of the same group that is designing, implementing and executing" the crimes of the US government, and I certainly don't agree with everything Chomsky says.

However, to say that he is part of a global conspiracy, especially when he is shunned by the mainstream media, is an extraordinary claim, which demands extraordinary evidence.

What evidence do you have for this outside of mere speculation?

First things first, that is the most intelligent reply I've had regarding my highly controversial statements. I cannot supply the evidence you require to solidify your suspicions. I can speak 4 myself, and there is evidence regarding Mr. C, receiving financial backing in some form or other to propagate the "terror" doctrine regarding 9/11. When I say "entertain the hypothesis", I'm simply saying "OK, for the sake of argument, let's say you're on to something". That doesn't mean I accept it. I can entertain the hypothesis that the earth is flat and that the idea of a round earth is based entirely on deliberate misinformation by some conspiracy, but that doesn't mean I accept it, nor does it mean I think it is even remotely likely.

Expecting you have read my previous comments,....I must say Ms. Goodman is entitled to much respect, but ......she(in my humble opinion), is not clear about 9/11 , avoiding the subject.
