  • @ausirider91 There cast man,not forged

  • is that a honda motor ? lol sucks thay killed a 2jz sadface 60pis on a supra wow

  • The stock pistons are not forged pistons. They are cast pistons. Check japanese TRD fact column on the web site.

  • its the only engine as well 2 be able to make 745whp+ on STOCK internals.

  • @yyargghhh yeh because there forged from stock

  • You can see at the end of the video that another rod is bent so that's what happened. Rod bent and then snapped pulling the pin out of the piston. Same thing happened on my engine, h-profile rods don't hold up for this power.

  • JE pistons are crap!!

Go CP or Wiseco or Mahle.

  • @marek0086 i think they'd know better than you...

  • @angerfist106~ do u know who i am?!

Im one of the best engine builders in the world!

  • thats what you call a well built motor

  • lol they say 3 years but probably only run like 1 hour in that hole time

  • i love Toyota.

  • every dyno country in the country LMFAO!!!!!

  • you guys do wonderfull work... gotta say AMAZING

  • as an A/fuel dragster mechanic id have to say theres a reason that piston pulled apart and i dont think too much boost was the reason! theres probably a damn good reason that piston is still in the block mayt.

  • @bringdnoiz~ ye it looks like it was an inertial-load failure (revving too high).

I think what happened was that the higher heat, created by the higher boost they ran, weakened the piston and it let go in its weakest point at the end of the exhaust stroke / beginning of intake stroke (highest tensile load condition of the 4 strokes).

Also, possibley, the piston may have already started to seize in the cylinder (for whatever reason).

  • Oh my, I thought the almighty 2JZ never blows up....

  • @DanSVT03 That engine made more hp then some lambos.... vipers.... do fully built..... that much hp for 3 years is unbelievable .. i love the fact that this engine help up soo well for soo long ... great company they know what they are doing for sure...

  • @DanSVT03

you are right, the other time they spin bearings.....

  • Amazing power but why would you put second bearings in another engine?

Did I hear the gentleman wrong?

Bit of sand paper rub and that piston will be good as new

  • motul oil is good shit..

  • how big was the turbo

  • Too much boost hahahahahahaha brilliant!

  • so it was the massive turbos fault

  • amazing the damage is very minimal !

  • stuff JE!.... should have gone with CP, Wiseco or Mahle!

  • thats a stock crank?? seriously? it hasnt been modified or treated?

  • can you imagine the psi in each cylinder at 60lbs of boost...

  • great vid! amazing condition for a engine running 3 years at that limit!

  • Warped the conrods due to the compression being too high (been over-boosted) ?

What sort of cam do Gas use in this particular motor?

  • @v8superstars To high cyl. pressure for the rods I would believe.4,1 bar boost. :-)

  • AND have in mind that its stil a 3.0L !!

    no stroker here...

  • Thats not even top 10 high HP supra in the world LOL! Nice looking girls though

  • @mdeniz95 That may depend on if the other supras are still 3L

  • @mdeniz95~ with the certain restrictions its running..... its THE most powerful 2JZ in the WORLD!

  • Take your cars to Gas Motorsports or Rotormaster. They are the best.

  • Having in mind tha the engine was running for 3 years, the condition of the parts is excellent, im quite impressed :)

  • ummm thats ungodly!!!!!
