He has ice picks on the bottom of them. Only found that out when I watched a video where he says he went into the audience to shake hands and a woman was crying so hard and he did not know why until he realised he was standing on her toes.

(He could stand on my toes any day ice pick or no ice pick LOL).

I can't imagine how any woman sees her man. But, I assure you, gals, this song represents exactly how every man sees his woman.

A friend was at the hospital with his father when his mother was in for cancer surgery. After 3 days and the surgery: good news. This is what his father said next:

"'Doctor, we have been married 42 years. You look at this woman and you see this withered thing. But I don't see that. When I look at her, this is what I see.' [And he pulled his wallet out and showed the doctor that picture of my mother when she was maybe 22 years old]. 'This is how she looks to me. Thank you for helping her.'"

My father always carried a picture of he and my mother at their high school prom in 1956. His whole life he would show it to anyone and say 'This is my sweetheart'. When he died five years ago we buried him with that picture. Thank you for reminding me that htere are still men like you and my father out there.

I love Merrills soft voice. He is such a talented man has not let the talent go to his head. He is so nice I got to be a part of a meet and greet and Merrill was so nice. It is so awesome that such a wonderful man is also a man of God and lives such a good example of life.

I have always loved ice skating/figure skating - grew up with it on frozen lakes/ponds/pools in Michigan, as a kid/teen.

I've watched the Olympics with my children, pointing out the nuances of the moves/jumps in figure skating .. but never have I been so touched by the vocal performances accompanying the skating as I am with this.

The combo of the words/singing & moves/skating is just beautiful - soul moving.
