was there another mix of this? this is the tune, and this is in many ways better, but i recall something less raw, more polish and a bit trippier harmonies, glad to hear that it's Eddy Grant's, i really dispise the other tune with this title, either a clever grab or a direct rip off, thank you for posting this, i always wanted to hear this again

Aw this was a classic. I heard it in 1981 at a basement party in the projects in Spanish Harlem. Then I heard it at the Garage. Rockers Revenge? Nah, this is the cut. Along with Time Warp, Nobodys Got Time, Living on the Frontline and the Frontline Symphony. Those were the tracks!!!

That's like saying the Specials' version of 'Rudy' is better than Dandy's Livingston's. In both cases, there's subtlety lost in covering a great song, but a lot of us wouldn't know the original if it wasn't for the cover. 'Going back to my roots' is annother good example of this, Lamont Doziers version KILLS the cover, hands down.
