ahhh this is by far the best interpretation of this melody I've heard. :) So many pianists seem to rush this piece, smashing on the keys to be loud. Rubinstein brings out a certain gentleness to this melody that no one else seems to.
I can imagine people in fancy dresses dancing in a giant hall to this~

Absolutely stunning. Such a delicate tenderness, a refined color, a sweet tone, and above all a high musicianship. Rubinstein is the epitome of a Chopin interpreter...by far the best (I'm terribly sorry, Valentina-but you're the best LIVING interpreter).
Sentire un brano suonato così bene mi fa capire perché Rubinstein sia stato a suo tempo considerato il migliore interprete di Chopin... Sembra che questo valzer sia stato scritto per essee suonato esattamente così, è incredibile!! Splendida registrazione, grazie!! :)
He play the piano forte as it is his brother, sister, mother or father or his wife or his mistress or somebody which he is in symbios with. It's absolutly beautiful!
is there a better audio quality for this piece? I'm sorry but I'm looking for a download.

I this really Rubinstein? I hated this interpretation... totally lacks energy.. specially the part starting at 2:01 ...

If I weren't such an inferior pianist, maybe I could play this maybe 0.01% as well as him on a good day. haha
