Pretty lame if you ask me. A true backflip, such as the one successfully executed by Nitro Circus in Jacksonville, FL, wouldn't require such prerequisites.
@Dogman36 This is possible I dunno the time line between Travis' attempt filmed for MTV and the others but I'm still going to say that the first to do it was the truck in this video and Max D did it later when he over flipped and went over at the World Finals. The time overseas that was on TV I don't count because Max D didn't do the flip in the air the ramp he used rolled him onto his wheels

actually....it was travis pastrana in Nitro Circus.
HE was the first to attempt it. Meents was the first completion only. Travis' jump was on MTV, which i guess you haven't seen.
