Boris Williams is sorely missed here. His work on "In Between Days" especially, is without peer.

There are some drummers who can be replaced without it being noticed. Not so with Boris.

This guy is just boring.

fair enough! however i just find u2 to be realy repetative, same echo/delay effect on the guitar(except the early stuff, thats not bad), plus bono's save the world atitude and ego really anoys me...not that im against saving the planet or anything like that i'm a bit of a hippy, but just hate his arrogance about it, and that tube geldof..hes a prat aswell. lol! just an opinion, anyways all i thought was that it sounded a bit like u2. and its a poor version of an otherwise awesome song.

Im really sorry for the drummer. It´s evident he lacks talent and can´t beat Boris Williams´ musicianship and creativity.

Many fans points him as being the culprit of the decline of The Cure and I think they are right.

The drumming in this film was actually superb, and was effected wery well in this live situation. The difficuty with playing this song live is that it is very short and fast, it is almost impossible to replicate the studio performance that is somewhat belying in the pressed version. The problem that I have with this particular recording is that it should be a minute or two longer really. Thanks for your comment though.

if you have ears, you might note that, at least this songs has more rythm and more beats than boris.... boris was constanly repetitive and all over the same beat through out all the song !!!!!, check well !!!!

please watch the shows with Boris Williams, if you understand of music, you will see the differences. And the lack of keyboards is fatal for this band. I like all the eras, Bob is a genius, but I think the band is worse now.
