@alphant1 Hey there... thanks for the question. It's a clear pinstripe... I just put it on there for the look. The sound ended up working so I stuck with it for a while. Overall that drum sounds best with a coated CS though.
Awesome lessons, you are really good,I saw in CL that you are going to be in a new project "goza" I hope to see you in a show soon here in MN, keep up the good work.
@Roodoo10 hey man... sorry to bum you out so much. In my experience, there are times to use the wrist and times to use the arm. Most often I'm doing some sort of combination. Either way, I'm certainly not the world's authority on it... thanks for your input.
I had been trying to find something to improve my left hand's technique/speed/muscle while also making sure my right hand and bass were solid without getting screwed up, and this is just the thing. This should contribute greatly to more solid playing with any type of groove. Not sure if I'll ever use this in music, but it'll DEFINITELY improve everything. Love the lessons! Keep up the good work!
really awesome tutorial. thanks so much! You are an inspiration!

@stephengoold do not take any of that crap. Everyone has an opinion, but that is rediculous.
