Fucking awesome footage no matter what people think about the riders I am sure we can all agree. Until L.A. is proven guilty I am one of those people who loves to believe in him. Most tested athlete alive and never a positive and all that...
I know the first song is on the "A Beautiful Mind" soundtrack and the third song is by the Crystal Method, but does anybody know who the artist/composer is of the second song? And, what album is it on?
Honestly contador might be the strongest cyclist in the world but he needs a good team to help him win and he doesn't have a good team,he can't do it by himself
Contador will try to win the race on his own and he will get dropped the other teams will single him out and he won't have any thing left to fight with
I doubt it. He won last year on his own with little or no team support. Some would say his team was against him. Unless Armstrong finds some new meds that no one else has he won't even podium.
I don't know, next years course is a lot harder with more mountain top finishes, hardly Armstrong's strength anymore. I can't see Contador getting dropped on these, if he has last years form. btw it's "naive"
I guess we will see what happens in this years TDF.Your gonna be dissapointed with the results.Lance and team radio shack will be the victor Lance will be #1.

Thank you very much. I´m sure that if I would spent 50.000 Euro for doping, then I could easily ride 5500 kilometres in 3 weeks. By the way the length of the Tour de France is +-3500 km, so shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Despite pumping themselfs with EPO and shit, you still can not deny the poetic beauty this video has just shown us.
The mental climbing fight. You just can not give up. These guys lives every breath for cycling. It does not get any more... you already know the word do you not? :)
Drug testers themselves are corrupt. There's more money in selling drugs then running legitimate testing. THe dealers like Ferrari are the one's that work with WADA to design the tests. Gambling is also a big problem in pro sports, I think think some teams are probably getting unfair advantages.
I think the main thing to remember is pro cycling is like bodybuilding, you cant get anywhere without drugs. Its ashame when people like Landis and Hamilton get persecuted because of some unfortunate mistake.
what a load of bullshit, cyclists have rode dope free until the 60s when doping didn't even exist. most doping doesn't even have much effect untill epo and bloodtrabsfusion came into play in the early 90s. look ta bjarnne riis. ugrumov etc. riders who could barely finish a race until they took near lethal amounts of epo. up to the point that riis had to be awakened every hour of the night during the tour of 95 and 96 to see if his blood wouldn't get so thick that he could die from a bloodclot.
I disagree with you about "dope free until the 60's." Blood transfusion was legal in the 1970's and the US National Team admits to administering it on riders back then. Look it up. USA Cycling is also being sued by a group of junior riders from the 1980's who were injected steriods by USA Cycling staff members and certified coaches while competing on the team. Riders were taking all sorts of wacky amphetamines, to increase pain tolerance and deaden fatique.
Great photography. I heard they broke a few Steadycams shooting this. Anybody know where you can see this in uncompressed form? This would be beautiful if the video was even close to Imax quality.
Saw "Wired to Win" featuring Baden Cooke & Jinmmy Casper, but was disapointed.
Would liked to have seen it as shot w/Hamilton.
Ty has really encountered some bad breaks & greatly deserves more recognition. As talented rider as any of them. I read he ground down 12 teeth after a broken collarbone but still finished! Could Lance what's-his-name have done THAT! I think not.
I still think it captures the imagination and displays the awesomeness of the event.
It's one of the most epic races in the world. The drugs shame brought upon the sport shouldn't detract from this being one of the biggest tests of a person's mental and physical limits.
Tyler was never overestimated by any one in cycling ever, thats just how hard it is to put together doped or not. You need more than yourself to win you need a whole crew. AND HE IS BACK SO WATCH AND ENJOY!
Tyler Hamilton indeed was pretty intense on the bike, but dope does wonders. Brainpower or dope-power. This was pretty boring and the video quality is below par. I did not quite understand the story line? Barry Bonds and the rest really murk up the real glamour of true athletes who work clean.
Tyler came second in the Giro with a broken collarbone. It doesn't matter what you think; that performance had nothing to do with any else apart from true grit. The drugs that you or I would have taken to kill the pain would have had him banned for 100 years.
Tyler came in second in the 2002 Giro with a broken shoulder blade, he came in fourth 6.17 behind Armstrong in the 2003 Tour de France with a broken collar bone.
Either way, Tyler is one tough guy physically and mentally. I'm glad he is racing again this year. Go Tyler!!!
Phillip Glass's Koyonasquatsi [Life out of Ballance] was a full length film from the 1970's and some of the repetetive music is from there. If not, just an omage to one of the great living minimalist composers of our time.
