  • My heart used to do what you described. My solution was was intestinal candida cleanse.

  • You go girl. Check out RobertMorseND for more information on your anxiety, etc. It's a sign of week adrenal glands.(So is the Type II diabetes Forget the flaxseed and supplements. Stay high fruit or all fruit for a while. Fruit all day and a salad in the evening is a perfect diet for detox. You may have to play with it while watching your sugars. If the detox gets too hard to take, throw a couple of steamed veggies in to slow it down. The fluctuating BP is coming from the cerebellum. Cont.

  • @mzimmerman12 When ur lymphatic system is clogged from a lifetime of acidic mucus forming foods (dairy,processed sugars, grains, meat) it will take years to undo all of the cellular stagnation. Ur body wont release it too fast.

    Dont look at this like its a diet, its a lifestyle of abundance. No calorie counting or restrictions when eating raw fruits and vegetables. Just eat when ur hungry and eat til ur full How great is that Strive for health, forget the w8t, that will take care of itself.

  • I just found your site and will sub. I am so amazed at your courage to do this on Youtube. I started the same way about 7 months ago. Lost weight fast and the palpitations have stopped (mostly.) My BP is all over the place too, but mostly ok. I have to drink lots of water to keep regular. Smoothies and juices help. Lots of fruit. Never knew the value of fruit. Always dieting. So glad to meet you, Jennifer. I started at 221 and now am abt. 191 something. Keep up the good work. Lynn

  • You are not "detoxing"  you are not doing the right thing. not eating fats and meat will NOT result i healthy weightloss. In fact, you may end up losing more hair & muscle mass than body fat.

  • @domdabombabc Blurred vision in diabetics is caused by carbs. High levels of glucose and insulin in the blood, damages the eyes, heart, kidneys, liver, and even nerve tissue. Uncontrolled diabetics develop heart disease and often become legally blind.

  • Will this make me get STRETCH MARKS if i lose weight too quickly with raw foods? Anyone can reply pls. I have a few and I'm terrified of more :/

  • @fetty4themaine you dont get stretch marks from losing weight only from gaining more weight so better lose now if you are worried about getting more because they only come when your skin gets stretched out not in

  • Please try and read the following books: The Body Ecology Diet - Donna Gates, and The pH Miracle Diet - Dr Robert Young (Amazon). I've been having the same issues. It's hard going 100%. Both adhere to the principles of food combining and alkaline high foods, as well as staying of sugars including fruits. Please research for yourself. The underlying issue is Candida - the root of all ill health. I wish you the best. Katrin

  • The #1 cause of Type 2 diabetes is LAZINESS. People who sit on their ass all the damn time, don't exercise, and are always shoving food in their mouths, are about 6 times more likely to develop insulin resistance. The only way to control Type 2 is to be physically fit. That means exercise. Lots of it. Anyone who tells you ANYTHING different is full of shit. That's a fact.

  • That's nonsense. Diabetes HAS NO CURE. If anyone tells you differently, they are either a liar, or simply don't know any better. Once again, there is no cure. That includes both Type 1 and Type 2. Type 2 Diabetes is simply an acquired insulin resistance. Once your body's cells become insulin resistant, there is no going back. It can only be controlled (to an extent).

  • @MsSMSgirl Better health helps with most things, but the fact still remains that there is no cure for diabetes. People with diabetes can never lead normal lives in terms of diet. Too many carbs will always send your blood sugar soaring, no matter what kind of food they come from. Insulin resistance cannot be reversed. Promoting veganism as a cure for diabetes is irresponsible and speaks to the motivations of those promoting it. It is as much about philosophy as about nutrition.

  • I'm a type 2 diabetic and I've tried a dozen different systems to control my diabetes. In the end, there are no tricks, and no shortcuts. You have to strictly control your carb intake or you're in trouble. You either have to exercise constantly to burn off glucose or eliminate carbs from your diet. If you don't, you're looking at dying 15-20 years ahead of your time. It's as simple as that. It takes a lot discipline. If someone tells you something different, they're selling something.

  • @gurumagoo i know you said you have tried a lot of things..but have you tried the raw food diet., mostly fruits and vegs? and if so for how long?

  • @MsSMSgirl I've done the vegetarian thing before. I suppose you could call it a vegan diet since I cut out dairy and animal products, but after awhile your overall health will decline. Unless you're exercising a whole lot, you won't notice any overall improvements if you still eat lots of carbs. Fruit is particularly dangerous and certain kinds of fruit like grapes, bananas, mangos, pineapple, etc, are strictly off the menu. If you experiment too much with type 2 you'll end up paying for it.

  • @MsSMSgirl You're better off cutting out dairy, grains, fruit, and starchy vegatables like beans and potatoes. After you do that, there isn't much left. What has worked for me is high fat, high protein. Mostly meat. I eat mostly wild game and free range eggs, so this kind of diet is definitely not for everbody, but it does work for controlling diabeties. I still eat vegetables, but its homegrown stuff like squash, green beans, zucchini, broccholi, etc..

  • Hi Jennifer. My name is dawn. I am on my day 5 also. I feel awful. Showers help. I have 5 kids also. I am overweight also. I need to drop 40 -50 lbs. Nothing worked for me either. However I am doing Epsom salt enema for colon cleansing and it helps the constipation and bloating problem. Keep up the good work. I will be checking in on you. God Bless You. Dawn

  • Look into 'Blood Pressure Tea' on Amazon.com. Google himilayan salt and high BP too. Also, check out 'TheRawFoodWorldTVShow' on YouTube, you can find a lot of really great advice there.

    If you bounce lightly on a trampoline for 10 minutes, and get your lymph system moving, it will carry out the toxins from your body, it will help. Must get your lymph system moving!!

    Also, check out the book Never Be Sick Again, by Raymond Francis, and The Enzyme Factor, by Dr. Hiromi Shinya.

  • Awesome video, Jennifer! You are on the right path. If u want more energy pls consider adding MUCH more fruit to your diet & watching your fat intake. If u are worried about the fructose in fruit affecting your levels eat it with greens. You don't need supplements aside from B12 (methyl type). Check out the book 80/10/10 & join the 30bananasaday community. I did & I rid myself of recurrent Pericarditis! I eat 3000 calories a day (mostly fruit) and weight 117 lbs down from 137 as a cooked vegan!

  • Thanks Guys!! I am really having a tough time detoxing.. Gonna make through these rough and I mean rough first 30 days and see how I feel, love the support!! MY cravings for cooked food and meat are intense!

  • @RawFoodHousewife Im not going through any of those feelings as Im on day 5 now. Ive been raw vegan before so I dont know if that has anything to do with it. The first time around was hard. Im 100% raw btw. But I can say this... my cravings for MEAT are almost out of control! I have to make myself go to sleep in order to not eat ; (

  • Drink lots of pure filtered water too. It really helps to flush all of the garbage out. Think about how bad you are feeling right now....imagine the havoc it has wrecked inside of your body. I am just so happy you have decided to do this. Keep making your videos.....it will keep you accountable!!!

  • My husband and I went Vegan, the beginning of April, when i found a lump in my left breast. We try to eat as much RAW as possible. The first 3 - 4 weeks were tough.....but i knew it was because of all of the years of garbages......that needed to come out. We are loving it and never felt better. Stick with it. You won't regret it. My parents have recently been disagnosed with diverticulitis and my mom had colon cancer before. Unfortunately, i cannot convince them.

  • I'll watch your progress with interest. I'm impressed that you can commit to this with 5 children. My children are grown and I know this makes it easier for me. Do you have access to a juicer? Some juice might help your detox symptoms.
