This boss was a ass of a boss before the 30 percent HP nerf, I think he had like 6.4 mil HP or something and we would wipe cause someone would die when they get the enrage or whatever, then 1 shots the MT, 2nd OT would die too

This was my favourite fight in TBC, I loved the boiling blood dance, loved Fel Rage...after the first few bosses, which weren't too hard in BT, this guy was tough as nails. His fight mechanics were really cool, took some getting used to, like the video says. This dude was no pushover!

Also a insanely hard fight as a tank. I never actually downed this boss during BC. Got into a SW guild right when SW was released, I was still in my T5/Hyjal drops. This boss raped me so hard the healers eventually said that they couldn't handle healing me.

Hard as a tank how? I tanked this as a feral with 2 warriors. It was a joke to tank. All you need to know is how to watch your Omen. If the boss was beating you so hard that means you were terribly undergeared or your healers were bad.

Holy Christ your UI is cluttered! Hm ... try SexyMap to make your minimap less conspicuous. Try sticking consumables and abilities with cooldowns in a clickable sphere addon (LunarSphere is my favorite) rather than having more bars stacked up in the middle. Less clutter makes monitoring essential information a lot easier. :)

We did BT tonight, nobody had been past supremus before, and we one-shotted every boss. Naj'entus never got a water shield off, Supremus died during the first phase2, etc. Illidan never even turned into a demon we killed him so fast. Some people died on council due to not moving out of flamestrike/blizzard, but for the most part I just said "mage, tank the mage, spellsteal his dampen magic, warrior and shaman take the priest" etc. Not too bad, and it was quite fun to finally do BT =D

Mages is the main 1, u got imba plus healing so the flash heals on a priest r nice and locks drain life helps muchly!

Think u misread what i was putting, i was replying to someone talking about how badly some classes get guimped by his fixate dmg.

Mages have a hard time surviving coz adding that armour with ice shield ontop of ure huge boost thru the fixate makes minimal difference, all u got then is mana shield.

If he fixates a lock or priest, u get a big boost to +dmg/healing so those clothies can spam emselves/drain huge hp to help survive.

If any class is gonna die on this, i'd punt on a mage!

we were trying him for the first time last night and I have a question.. When he uses felrage 2 of the groups still have the bloodboil debuff.. somehow it's really hard for the healers to keep the BB affected people and the felraged person up (I'm a dps so dunno how hard it is). the way we take care of it is have a druid keep hots on the tanks and the bb people and have a shammy just back him up with chain casting chain heals on the bb people (mainly the melee so it has a chance to hit the enraged person). keep in mind if these people get the rage they have to keep them selves up and tell someone else to cover for them on the tanks/bb people

It is still hell for a healer to get used to it, we've run into an interesting question after last nights attempts though. Did they change this guy?

This is a healing fight. Flat out. Every class that can heal has a good place on this. However, for the Fel Rage it's best to have 3 paladins on the player with Fel Rage. One casting Holy Light, the other two Flash of Light. Have 2 shamans raid healing, and a druid putting up HoTs on the tanks.
