Eames was /IS beautiful. I always loved her for her personality. She was not glamorized like these women in cop shows are now like in the Csi's, or any other show where they are all gorgeous and made-up. I love that Eames represents a regular dressed down woman who can still can kick butt as well as any of the "guys" loved her.
These two are cute together. But theres NO way in hell they could hook up. Sure, with his mom and brother gone, Bobby could gravitate towards Eames as she is the closest thing he has to any friend, platonic or otherwise. But Eames would reject him. She couldnt stand goren's constant psychoanalysis in an intimate relationship; hell, the only reason she can tolerate his idiosyncracies now is because she keeps him at arms length.
We'd be better off hoping benson and stabler hook up!

I believe she keeps him a little closer than arms length BUT i also don't think they will or can get any closer without destoying each other and their partnership. not only will eames not go for a relationship, i don't think the idea appeals to goren either. He wants her to meet his mother before she dies and he tells her about his past. Also in the episode "Ladies' Man" he says somethings that sound like he is interested in her. I never got the impression that she was interested in him romantically though. I hope so!
I think she believes that she is very FOND of him and maybe even wishes she WAS in love with him. BUT! I also believe that she can, and will, one day realize that she has maybe loved him all along? Well to be honest, the show focused so heavily on him the first 3 seasons, and I was surprised to find he was actually the jr. officer of the two of them :S
Bishop seemed more "helpful" because she liked competition. She was racing to try to find the dots before Bobby!:)
On the other hand, all that mattered to Eames was getting the case solved. Once the cases get solved that is enough to her. No competition! The competition in her made Bishop seem more useful...
Eames should have knocked him one.. i love goren but he needs to step back, and see that Eames is just trying to be there for him and cares for him. Goren thinks that she will always be there and now she probobly wont because there is a fine line of trust between them now.
all I could wish for is that goren gives eames a hug when she is mad at him.she had every reason to be mad. goren should stop explaining ,and give his partner a big hug so that she will truly realize that goren

Yeah, how many fanfics have used or come *very* close to using that same line to describe how Bobby treats Alex?! I was honestly suprised that the writers dared go there, cause it's been a long time coming and Alex just keeps putting up with it. As much as I love Bobby (and I do *LOVE* him) Alex should have called him out a while back!
It really was a fantastic line, because it said volumes about what Eames' perceptions of their partnership, and revealed a lot about her own insecurities as a detective.

they could have been hinting at it but this was back in season 6. they didn't decide to kill Eames until around the ending of season 7, if not after.
