Of course I ran into this from an Erik Mongrain video, but you have made lap tapping your own as he did. Well done, I really enjoyed it & look forward to seeing more. Would you mind telling me if you keep in standard tuning,I would appreciate it a lot, Thanks & again, well done sir:)

I think the tuning is open F, which is FACFCF, or half note dropped down on all of the strings. but it doesn't really matter. you can play it with open F tuning :)

i heard erik mongrain say that 90% of laptapping is improvisation and 10% structure. do you agree?  how long did it take you to get the hang of it? (nice work by the way.)

I try to play my songs the same every time so I don't do improvisation that much (maybe like one part that I change slightly). So to me, it's more like 10% improvisation. I practiced every day and it took me about 3 months to get use to lap tapping :)
