When I entered my teens, I was a "late bloomer", (meaning no boobs), and wore thick glasses and had some skin problems. However, at 15 I switched to contact lenses, my skin had cleared and I had filled out. Within only one year the way people reacted to me was so dramatically different. So, its true, looks do matter, although they shouldn't. We don't choose the looks we are born with.

Its even more frustrating because the level of inequality of these traits (although not limited to beauty) in a given population is astounding. Its simply not fair that some people are born with superior intellectual, athletic, and creative abilities while others barely struggle to have an average IQ!

One possible solution is to not allow ugly or dumb people to have kids either by giving them tax incentives to adopt or giving them greater access to alter and enhance their potential children's traits. Yes, this is eugenics but we can learn from our past mistakes and ensure that our children will have a better future

Zara is not beautiful in that fake, Hollywood way, but I do find her beautiful. The way her lips kind of "poke up" is pretty, and I think big teeth are attractive, even if they do protrude slightly. Her eyes are nice, and her skin is clear. Also, people don't factor in the way people sound--which, unbeknownst to many people--is a factor in attraction, and Zara's voice is clear, nice pitched, soft and easy to listen to.
