i have a doxie and all he wnts is food. he knows sit and stay but never comes to his name. ur doxies r sooooo cute.

Please teach me how to train my dachshund, I got him to sit, but now he's not doing it anymore. He comes to his name, but thats about it. He is very ball oriented, but also likes treats. He is not verbal. He thinks he gets the treats if he completes a pattern or set behavior.. He doesn't listen to the command :(.

I have an exbreeding bitch, that, if you dont watch her, she'll pinch my old boy's food. Now, I have a 6 month old little girl, who looks as if she's going to be fussy with her food(not mine though!) so now I have twice the job! But having said that, we've had them as pets for 35 years and once owned by Dachsies, I would have any other breed personally. xxx
