  • You might be interested in an online program called Shrinkyourself because it deals with the root causes of emotional eating. I have always had emotional eating issues, and sometimes they are at the root of why we eat what we shouldn't and can't eat what we should.

  • Low reps high intensity, if you can do more than five rep it's too light for you

  • You can do weight training, gain muscle cardio is shit. Muscle burns calories, when you're sleeping. Get some weight training down ya, you could try a day of fasting every month, no food and no drink for more than one day, can do three days.

  • You inspire me so much. Thank you for sharing yourself like this. I also struggle with binge foods. I've made a week this time around without sugar and flour. You inspire me because you keep fighting, and even when the going is tough, you keep going. I needed to hear this. I have lost 55 lbs from my heaviest - slipped back - gained back 25, and now I'm back down 10. I'm sorry you struggle, but glad you share this because it's nice to know I'm not alone, and that it can be fought and done.

  • I have a hard time fighting the "binge" too. I can eat like 3 footlongs or 2 Large pizzas at one time. I dont care about sweets like chocolate, but my drug of choice is stuff like sandwiches and pizzas and stuff like that. your so much stronger than i am though.

  • Book- Eat to Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. and no, this is not an ad....its the right way to eat if you want to live a long life....losing weight is a side effect of eating a healthy diet.

Get the book and eat to live and the weight will just fall off. Please don't ignore, it's whats missing from your diet... not calorie restriction. You can eat 6000 calories a day and still be malnurished and therefore very hungry. "Eat to Live!" it's whats missing.

  • Its a lifelong struggle but I think you are doing great! Don't give up! Keep on putting in the work and results will come.

  • proud of you ;) You can do it!

  • Good job. Keep up the hard work!

  • any loss is good, and I agree the up and down might change your metabolism a bit--you are doing great and thanks for the update!

  • not eating chocolate for two months is amazing! :)

  • I don't really like eating chocolate, but I eat way to much meat, I love pork chops and gammon steaks myself. I can eat meat all week, I am now trying to eat more fish and pasta's to balance out my diet.

  • Once in a while you have to let yourself have something sweet. That was my problem though. I lost 80 lbs in 2010, but i gained 50lbs back. I went 3 months without having anything sweet, then I bought myself a candy bar. Let's just say. I couldn't stop with that candy bar. :( I kinda felt like that was my last reeses for a long time, and i got panicked. So, I think I need to reward myself more. Rather than waiting for such a long period of time. Maybe you have a reason you like chocolate so much.

  • Wow! Props to you for controlling the chocolate!

  • Good job

  • I think you should have one free meal, every 7 days. It satisfies cravings so you do not one day binge. Also, what has worked for me is 1hour cardio. No diet in the world can withstand 1hr cardio, trust me! 4 days cardio, 1 day upper body, 1 day lower body weight lifting. Oatmeal w/almonds and raisins, protein shake later, Turkey sandwich on wheat, protein bar and salmon and spinach for dinner. See if this works...and 2 gallons of H20!!!

  • Good update. Are you eating under your BMR or your TDEE? If you eat under BMR, you lower your metabolism and it's not healthy in the long run.

  • I don't think you should be too disappointed with 1 pound / week, no matter how hard I try I have never managed more than 1 pound a week. So a big well done you - I also think when you re-start the exercise program your body takes time to adjust to it and adds muscle. I think you look really well and its great to have you posting videos again. Best, S.

  • Good to see your face again. You're doing great, keep at it cowboy.

    Knuckle Love! <3

  • You should try p90x. Keep up the good work, never give up.

  • man ya seem a little down i know its what we all say but you shouldnt be your not adding weight there's the thing your even losing it fuckin brill,i really wish i was doing as well at the moment anyway keep her going buddy good to see you back

  • Congratulations on your givin up your cheat day. You rock!!!!

  • Keep the vids rolling!

  • Keep it up, man. Remember not to eat a lot of salt or foods w/ a lot of salt (ie. cheeses) before your weigh-ins because the increase in sodium keeps water on the body and it can really, really skew the data. It may sound like a cop-out, but unless you account for that variable, the weigh-in is pointless...it'd be the same if you didn't drink any water and spent the day in a sauna before your weigh-in: a useless number. Keep it up: I know with me it'll plateau for a long time then drop like 10.

  • so glad to "see" you back again man

  • Im kinda in the same boat as you as in starting again and it sucks so i get where your coming the scale can be a very demotivating thing so i i stopped using it i go with how i feel or how i fit in things, dump the scale for a while. anyways Its good to see that you are keeping at it inspite of the little hiccups I recommend the book The Diet Cure it addresses a lot of things including binge eating the information in it helped me it can probably work for you too

  • @taureanscorp Same here. Working out good so far, watching these video updates gives me so much motivation, too! I'm also skipping weigh-ins, or at least attempting to do it every two weeks, no less than that. I've actually been trying to get back on track for over a year now, and I found that thinking that I can get straight back into it was ridiculous. Building it up a little at a time again, here's hoping I'll keep it up properly this time. :)

And, as always, good to see you back, Dustin.

  • @deamera Im trying the same strategy as well i realise that its harder the second time around but as long as we keep trying eventually it will get easier to stick to and do it just takes a lot more effort to start sometimes its good to know that there are others like you fighting it gives a level of encouragement- like they are trying so i can try too

  • Good up-date video.

  • You are doing so well, the main thing is that no matter how slowly the weight is coming off its going down and your not putting anymore on. It can be so disappointing when your not seeing the results you want but think how far you have come. Just keep trying but don't be to hard on yourself.

  • dark chocolate bro. the darker the better. low in carbs and actually good for you. it's an acquired taste but will help satisfy your choc addiction

  • I just ran into your video's just tonight. You are doing GREAT.!!!!!! I think you should look at more how far you have come not far you have to go, you know....

Are you counting calories??? or just curious. Hang in there, and Thank you for sharing your journey. P.S- KEEP THE FAITH
