They are all about seeing if the interviewer, or each other, can catch the other in a lie, a mistake, or to just simply leave each other speechless on a question that maybe one person or the other doesn't really have a lot of knowledge on, or is simply not interested in. I have also seen that lots of people in this country, will sometimes base you they vote for, SOLELY on one of these debates!!
