not on :( those horses are lucky they have such dedicated guardians to watch out for them, because if people like u weren't there, who knows how much worse things might be :( nice vid on a not so nice subject
Tommy Doyle of Charleston, SC, at 1:48...what a piece of work he is! He lives in a dream world of his own making. The horses have in rough in Charleston; 98 degrees is the upper limit and there is no consideration for humidity.
Oops, make that TJ Doyle of Charleston, at 1:56 ... just wanted to point him out so you'll know the next time he crashes an NYC event! Said his son (TJD Jr.) is president of Carriage Operators of North America (CONA)...
I wonder what Mr. Doyle has to say now that the shit has hit the fan in Charleston, and the dire conditions that exist in that city's industry have been brought to light.
This industry is disgraceful and a blight on the city. These people are desperate and pathetic. Yet no one from the industry bothered to accept an invitation to the panel discussion at the Bar Association.
I CANNOT BELIEVE ANY OF THIS...and then the carriage crosses traffic with a U-turn ? unbelievable...cars would get "ticketed" for that kind of thing.. when will the city PROTECT this animals and get them off city streets! disgraceful!
I am not surprised they do this, as i have seen this so many times, i am shocked of the audacity of them doing in FRONT OF YOU! they don't even try to "pretend".
Everyday/night I see these horses, I cringe....I hope that with all our efforts these horses will finally be safe and live out a peaceful life.
This is insane. I can't believe that they would go through this much trouble to protect the industry. Why don't you guys try to/have you tried to get PETA on this?
PETA is involved as well, they helped promote the documentary Blinders. It is the NYC City council that has members who are unethical. Also it is insane. I been activists for many issues and never have I seen such behavior before. Even in City Hall hearing, the signs were stolen and so was the sign up sheet and in the blinders screenings some members of the industry were escorted out. UNBELIEVABLE. poor horses.
Notice how they hide their faces.

Good thing they have these owners to use them as one would use a machine, not really caring if the horses need social time away from the asphalt
