@tetsubo57 I'm just trying to do the least amount of harm I can in the world. I don't feel comfortable supporting slaughterhouses and factory farms. Since it's relatively easy for me to eat a plant-based diet, I feel more content with that decision than with eating beings that felt/may have felt pain and fear when being killed. Obviously I can't save every animal but I do what I feel that I can.

I have a serious and non-snarky question. How do you reconcile the loss of animal life in the process of harvesting plant matter?
I simply accept that to live, I must take life. I honor that life in prayer. Whether it is plant or animal. I am an omnivore and I accept that.

@alyiswriting I am not attempting to question your decision. I am just seeing if you thought through the entire process. Which you have.
While I am an omnivore, I eat fully vegetarian (even vegan) meals daily. Especially breakfast. But I do enjoy my meat.
