they didnt do the routines to beat ichigecki, they did it to advance to the top 16! the pre-lims is like putting on a show for the judges. win or lose, if you put on a dope set and battle well, than you have a good chance on advancing. unique renegades and flava squad battled each other the first day and both of them advanced.
