His lowering taxes will come by eliminating the AMT tax that has never been fully in acted in the first place. Then he will raise the capitol gains tax from 15% to 28%. This will kill the stock market and hurt the middle class. He will raise the top tax bracket to 39.6% from 35%. Are you seeing any tax cuts here? Obama in his acceptance speech says we will become gas independent by building the natural gas pipeline from Alaska.
The fact is the Alaska NG pipeline is Gov Palins project that she has been working on. He didn't expect her to be on the ticket.
The other thing that Obama fails to mention is that we have to drill for oil in Alaska inorder to get enough Natural Gas for that pipeline.

This was perhaps the best speech I have heard in a long time other than when I listen to Barack Obama speak, I believe this man and what he says he can do for our country.... God knows the last 8 years have been a total nightmare, gas is the highest it has ever been, our jobs have been shipped to other countries, our people are out of work more than ever,& our sons and daughters are dying by the thousands in a war that was created for the sole purpose of revenge and in the wrong country!!!!!!!!!

And the president has nothing to do with the economy. His tax cuts did however help the economy from going any deeper. Todays paper say's things are on the up swing. And it's the housing market that's keeping the numbers down.

States have sovereignty. The government can't enter without a governors permission. The President offered aid, before the storm hit, she refused. The presidents hands were tied at that point.
