Though repetitive, I love this band's music. They capture a specific feeling in a few chords and they make a whole motion out of it. I'm sure each song brings everyone back (or forward?) to a certain place.
@Perscenthe It's just one person, not a band - Robert Matthew Cooper. And though it's subjective, I find that all his music is diverse and unique in different ways. I have never come across any of his work which I have found 'repetitive'
@DIGItalColourMedia Almost every song is the same melody over and over. xD I didn't mean that every song sounds the same as the other, I just meant each individual song has a lot of repetition.
@Perscenthe Ah I see! Yes, in some ways his pieces are repetitive. But that's the beauty of it - many of his tracks are gentle and persistent, and have an essence of time passing to them. That's what I like about his music - you could easily watch days go by when experiencing one of his tracks.
too bad you two don't get payed for your useless bickering and commenting on YOUTUBE. . . It's a shame to see such intellect be used in a distasteful manner. apply such energy elsewhere and maybe others will follow.
no one I have ever met will understand the beauty and power of this music like I do. I am so glad that I am part of the small percentage that can truly feel life through a song.
@CosmoNought I never said I was better than you. I just stated that I have an appreciation for this music like a lot of people don't have. Maybe you should choose your words more carefully before you make yourself sound like an unintelligent prick.
@downthestreetteam not only are you elitist, but you're self-contradictory. only you can truly understand this piece, and somehow that doesn't imply superiority? and then you say you're part of a minority with special privileges. unless you are referring to yourself as that entire minority, you contradict your terms. you've never met me, so your original statement doesn't apply to me per say, but then you denigrate me based on one word. maybe you should not get snippy over internet happenings.
@CosmoNought when did I say I was the only one? I said I'm part of a small percentage. Eluvium is sort of unknown, and I was saying that myself, and the people who like this piece, are part of a small percentage of people who do. I wasn't saying I'm the only person in the world who can appreciate it. Now read things more carefully. Let's not have a stupid argument over a youtube video.
@CosmoNought It's true he was just saying he's proud to be part of a group of people who love this music. Plain and simple. You did kind if come off as a prick, but at least the misunderstanding is cleared up. :)
I use to listen to this album 3 years ago and managed to get it the day it came out. Thank you so much for uploading this. Takes me back to a time full of bliss. February 2007 for me was the best time of my life. I always thought instead of having an afterlife I would rava have february 2007 play on a Loop. sad i know lol
One of the most gorgeous, pastoral, symphonic masterpieces in pop music in the last two decades; right up there with Gorecki's 3rd Symphony. Breathtaking.
Mmmm(:

I can't explain why, but in a way it's really heartbreaking when those fireworks start going off.

this is what music should be...conveying emotion without words.
