... and to show that putting music up on youtube isn't bad, I just ended up buying this album (again) so I can listen to it .. I have no idea where my old copy is.
@borkityborkbork i feel what u mean. i just bought this on itunes because it reminded me of when i gave my bro a cd of ctd. back in 1996 or 97' and i love every song on this album. The songs are so relateable to many people . :)
I haven't heard this song in years, but my early teens just came flashing back to me .. funny though, listening the lyrics now, they make much more sense now that I'm twice++ the age I was when this came out and I bought it. So fantastic. Also amazing, I immediately knew all the words without hearing it for well over a decade.
I sometimes wonder if the lyrics they put forth in the songs from this album are speaking to me in some way I could never describe to another person. Times certainly had more meaning and less materialistic bull than now. If not all the way around, in the music at least
DONT READ THIS CAUSE IT REALLY WORKS,YOU WILL GET KISSED ON THE NEAREST POSSIBLE FRIDAY BY THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE,TOMORROW WILL BE THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE,HOWEVER IF YOU DONT POST THIS COMMENT TO OVER 3 VIDEOS OR YOU WILL DIE WITHIN 2 DAYS,NOW YOU STARTED READING THIS DONT STOP,THIS IS SO SCARY,POST THIS TO OVER FIVE VIDEOS IN 143 MINUTES WHEN YOU"RE DONE PRESS F6 AND YOUR CRUSHES NAME WILL APPEAR ON THE SCREEN IN BIG LETTERS,THIS IS SO SCARY BUT IT REALLY WORKS
i love this song soooooooo... much music these days is complete crap why cant we get some descent music like this i wasnt even born when this song was released and i can still appreciate it just shows CTD are just AMAZING!!!
Chuffed to see others saying what I waas thinkin whilst I was listening to this... I've never got tired of it either. Excellent musicians, great songwriters, and a top-notch wordsmith to boot. As albums go, this will always be a timeless classic as far as I'm concerned. CTDs FTW :P
I remember dancing around the living room when I was 4 years old listening to this album. I am recently rediscovering some of the first music I ever heard in my life.. and damn its good.
Hey I understand your frustration. But the audio only vids are great for those of us with slower connections. For me, if I wanna watch a 5 minute video I have to wait about 7 minutes for it to load with the sound off first. And only then will it be watchable. I've even got DSL but it's not quite fast enough to work correctly with videos.
I forgtot how much I liked this album when I was 13. I haven't heard in like 10 years. It's weird when you finally get old enough to put things in the context of decades.
This is a profoundly good song from one of the best CD's I've ever owned. I enjoy it as much today as when it came out, but I cant say that of other once great albums like U2's Johua Tree or the Police's Synchronicity. Just absolutely wonderful, even more so after all these years!
I quite agree there are few cd's that I can the same of, never seem to get tired of it. Might take a "break" from it for a while but seems to get better everytime I put it back in rotation.
Yes, this is the best album for having each cut so great to listen to! All of the comments are just great...too bad we don't hear this type of music from todays artists.
anyone who likes mmmm mmmm mmmm mmmm should get the album. if you like this stuff, you won't be disappointed. the entire thing delivers. i love this album.
I was in my late 30's when this came out, just hanging around reminiscing about what I'd listened to as a kid. Long before '93 I'd pretty much resigned myself to the fact that any and all originality in popular music had died somewhere along the way. Anyway, I'm still listening to this album and could care less that nothing this original has come out since. Alas, this will see me through until the time when God shuffles his feet on the day I think I'll disappear now at my funeral.
Agreed whole-heartedly. I can't even stand the radio when it's on in the background at work. Great song by a great band... I think they still do stuff in Canada no?
Thanks so much for posting this! Man, what a great band they were. Too bad the good ones peter out and we have all the crappy stuff we'd ever want on the radio...

Hehe I love this song.
Mainly because it reminds me of that time I ran into my ex gf in a public place.
"Running into you like this without warning, is like catching a sniff of tequila in the morning.
But I'll try to keep my food down.
Quite an aftertaste that you left ..."
Also the "Let's just pretend that we're not in the same room."
Hehe, that's exactly what she did(and I quickly mosied to the bathroom!)
Hehe, love this.
