Random Shiny Abra Encounter (Emerald)

I love when you accidentally find really cool shinies. It happened to me on 9/11 with a freakin Eevee

I found my first shiny ever a couple weeks ago: a shiny Kadabra. Yeah, that fucker teleported. And yeah, I fuckin' raged.

Send it into battle, and then switch is out for a stronger Pokemon. They will share the exp. You'll have to do that until it evolves into Kadabra at lv.16 and learns confusion.

You simply hit a Shiny frame. So you were very lucky. Finding a shiny in Emerald is quite different from all the other games becuase it doesn't go by 1/8192. It goes by timing...

Yea I know. I wasn't going for a shiny though, and I didn't know my shiny frame. So it's more legit than emerald rgn pokemon in my book.

That's awesome man, you got lucky it didn't break lose and it has a decent nature! I was reading your description and the EV reducing berries are on Emerald. You get some of them from the berry master. Good luck with your shiny abra! ^.^ What are the other 3 shinies you have? I have gotten 2 legit shinies, a Zapdos on Firered =) and a duskull on Emerald.

Thanks! =D My other random shinies are Parasect (Also my first shiny ever), Bannete, and Staryu. I also have 32 other shinies from the Pokeradar. And congrats with Zapdos and Duskull! I tried to soft reset for shinies but I got bored lol. But I will try to SR for shiny Mewtwo again eventually. That abra is now a lv.49 Alakazam on Platinum. I pal parked it because I have at least 1 of every EV reducing berry on there.

Thats awesome! I didn't soft reset for the Zapdos, I just got lucky. I was trying to catch it in the Power Plant on Firered and I kept running out of ultra ball (i was too lazy to buy more) so i kept restarting, and after like 5 restarts i see a shiny one and i was like O.O! so i threw my master ball at it right away haha
