thats pretty impressive, but i wouldnt pay 60 bucks for it. you could make something a little less effective and refined for 10 bucks.....and you get to drink some beer
Well I hadnt come across anything quite like the caldera cone. And it was recommended by a friend, I thought about trying to produce one myself, but lke I said for the quality and tooling required I am pretty happy, I may even try there new wood burning version.
I've made many. All it takes are some small files, the cans, hacksaw(a rotary tool makes it REALLY easy), and some high temp glue. plans are all over the internet. I hate to take buissness from hard working Americans that are jsut trying to earn a buck but what kinda human am i if i let my fellow americans be price gouged?
Nice setup! Light weight, compacts down nice and is seems to work great. The windscreen/ potstand are what really caught my eye. Wonder what type of plastic container that is and where the company got it. nice video!
The Caldera Stove is passive air induction, like a FeatherFire on high, or a Sakura Stove that Dutro makes. It is a very good design. Good stuff, man! Peace.

I believe that you're suppose to have the cozy on the top part of the can during boiling, might help with getting the boil time that they claim

Looks like a great system. I've never used an alcohol system before. Wish I had known about them when I was backpacking way back when.
Great video!!

Looks like a great system, similar to Tinny's Gram Weenie system. But, I like the windscreen/pot stand, awesome design feature!! ED 5/5
