@nVidiaGTX100 yeah but i would suggest getting the 8800gts 512mb version. its as fast as the 8800gtx and a few fps slower than the 8800 ultra. It had a smaller die process and higher clock speeds

Dell power supplies are pretty amazing ,mine is 375 watt and is now running a 8800GTX 768mb,with a split 6 pin for the power,its all got to do with the amps on the 12v rails,more amps the better.

Crysis is a game that you will never be able to max out and get amazing framerates. I recently saw Crysis: Warhead being played max settings on a Core 2 Extreme with 2 GTX 280's in SLI, and it still dropped to 10-15 fps. I just think the games are ahead of their time.

Dude calm the fuck down. An 8800 GTS is still a great card, especially at it's current price point, but it is nowhere near as good as a GTX 280. A 9800 is just 2 8 series chips on a single board. A GTX 280 is a completely new chip, however. You want a shit card, drop an FX 5500 in your system, now that's a shit card nowadays.

It is a high end card, sure they have improved the architecture in the 512mb and sure they have the 9 series which is essentially the 8 series with diff. clock speeds. But this card still kicks ass, don't be so quick to say it sucks even compared to a 9 series card.

9600 is good but not as good as an 8800gts, has far far fewer stream processors, less memory bandwidth, its cheaper though and good bang for buck has faster STOCK core speeds but everyone overclocks their 8800s anyways so dont matter.

8800GT has less bandwidth, but still be much faster. Its all because the new NM process and the chip its self better. I dont know about 9600GT, but i want to say that that card is only $180 and I'm sure it is very fast bossible just as fast as 8800GTS. 8800GTS priced to high and the performance is very low. If i get 100FPS with my 8800GT you will get only 80FPS in the same game or test. Look arround .
