Thanks once again Austin. A fabulous range of locations and shots. You must have had a whale of a time in the 90s. I'm glad you did and very grateful to you for sharing more of your collection. Chris
Fantastic Austin, fantastic. 100% action and such a great range of shots and locations, all filmed to a very high standard. Loved the light on 6201 in the last shot. Cheers, David.
Thanks David, as those midweek NWCE's stopped at Rhyl on the return, late evening, there was often the chance of some nice low light. Just lucky to be in the right place I guess.
That was amazing Austin, that shot of 6203 from the car, well Karl jauncey ...eat your heart out! Every sequence is a gem in it's own right. So it's a 5*+ and Favourite from me...Bob
Thanks Bob, as you have guessed PSOV were an inspiration. I should give praise to my wife as I was driving that day. Should have had a longer sequence but she had a few problems aiming the camera at a fast moving Maggie Rose!!
Austin i'm speachless ! This is incredible stuff, 46203 and Hamilton as Stanier wanted to see her. Peppercorn and Gresley were good but Stanier made a far superior whistle ! Magical, many thanks for posting.
i think its about time these two great engines should be working as a pair again and not a day to soon

I want to do something like this, would love a Lizzie or a Duchy on NWC. I'd love one anywhere to be honest...

The best North Wales compilation on YouTube. Love every minute of it. The Llandulas shot my favourite,

A joy to watch. The bit filmed from the car window was very good.

Thank you, glad you liked it, the car sequence was difficult as she was going at a cracking pace.

Brilliant post, and the piece filmed running on the road next to the Princess was outstanding!

Thanks, just a pity that sequence couldn't have been longer.

Fantastic collection. I'm hoping that the North Wales coast sees a lot more mainline steam in 2009.

Cheers, it's a good route for steam to run fast and very scenic when it doesn't rain!
