  • After you Ctrl+ shift+I and when you selected the item already Alt+ctrl+shift+b to make the selected image be appreciated in colour

  • Some people would take three minutes to do this, but thanks for straight up explaining it without bull.

  • here are the steps:

    1. Lasso Tool (L)

    2. Select Inverse (CTRL+SHIFT+I)

    3. Desaturate (CTRL+SHIFT+U)

  • the other way is to duplicate the layer, crop the image u want to stay colored and just desaturate the background

  • Great video, but I think I'm doing something wrong. I select the object ok with the magnetic band but when I press Ctrl, shift and I no problem, then ctrl shift and u the object goes into negative colour and a change tone, and saturation window opens alowing you to change the inverted negatve image of the object selected. Then ctrl and D does nothing and ctrl shift and d fixes the image. Please tell me whet I am doing wrong. Thanks very much - Sandy
