@reubenha1-Charge back. I do that as well. You do the ex lightning legs while charging back, then go forward, back, forward + 3 kicks.

This fight was not so good, why Chun-li should be more defensive, took many hours that you could have given ULTRA COMBO! When she gave the Target Combo + Spirning Bird Kick, should have come with the swift kick! But, congratulations! :) Chun-li is my favorite character, is hard to beat me, but that does not mean that it is possible. hahaha! xD Just kidding.

@lilangel2225 Well, if your on a Playstation 3 then first you make a PSN account. After doing all of that go to the main menu where you choose things such as Arcade, and then choose network battle. Afterward its pretty self explanetory. But make sure you have a internet connection (most important part).

do you still have to play this game like, for example (down, back, down, back, -button-) in a sliding motion as opposed to (down, then back, then down, then back, then face button)? i think that's street fighter's way of making itself more individual and avoiding copyright infringement from the mortal kombat creators, but that always killed my thumbs. still, very cool to see them in today's graphics, the last time i saw these characters were in SFEX3. go chun li!

I've got to disagree with you on that one! I think Chun-Li is as good as the player makes her. She has so many different crazy combos to use and if connected, they are both lethal and look very effective. I think she is very under estimated by a lot of people. I don't think she's bland at all.

@muthasausage All her moves, every single one, is a charge. Kikoken, spinning brid kick, ultra, super. If they are not charge, they are half circles. She also has no anti air other than dashing and maybe a high kick. So no, she is not as easy to master as other DF-DF-KKK players.

this chun li jumps in every time she gets a knock, down. so its very easy for her to get predicted. chun li has one of the best mix up games in sf4 so MIX IT UP

a top char tier losing to chun li is epic fail! great chun fight i wish chun had a better anti air attack instead of the ex spinning bird kick. she got downgraded in sf4 because capcom knew she was the best of the best in 3rd strike >=)

I agree, I used her for years. I miss the spinning air kick as it was her primary counter move for jumping enemies and, if timed correctly, was lethal. Now they've taken it away with the exception in certain combos which makes it useless for the original purpose it was intended for. I don't even use her much now I'm sad to say.

Wow, they really beefed of Chun Li in SFIV, she has like everything, just like Zangief. It's sad though that the Shoryuken brothers are relativley unchanged. The fighters that got new moves in IV have a big advantage these days against those who don't. I mean just look at Chun Li's EX Bird kick!

She sucks compared to SF3... which is great since she was too good in SF3. Her moves have a lot less priority, and come out a lot slower and her pokes can be countered. Finally her focus comes out slow, and using her super/ultra is not that simple.

im sorry bu i dont think that chun li is a good character in this game. i know everyone and there mom are going to yell at me for this but she dosent do much damage, dies really fast, and has some of the worst moves i have ever seen. the only way to be good with her is, 1, to be ridiculously good at the game, and 2, to know the exact button combinations that actually string together a punch kick combo. why o why did they take out her anti air counter move, with out it she sux.

I used to use Chun Li; she was my favourite character in the days of super Street Fighter and Alpha series. The air kick or scythe kick was a great counter. I would like to know why they've removed it as she needs a counter to compete with Ken and Ryu. She's supposed to be one of the top characters in the genre. My theory is Capcom have made her weaker to keep the massive hordes of Ken and Ryu players out there happy. I'm going to stick with her however, Im loyal to my Chun Li lol.

Me too. I'm a Chun Li fan as well. She still have excellent tactic attacks and her moves are pretty good. And her super and ultra are mainly use for reversal attacks.

back + medium kick, down + medium kick, up + medium kick

ur basically doing the down motion to charge down. make sure the first kick connects, if it doesnt and u do the second one, ur way open cuz it takes awhile to get out of that animation
