  • I took firefighter 1 a and b, with the FPC dept in Rindge NH, You guys were cool shit. Stay safe.

  • I can't wait to join the Fire Department once I arrive this fall!

  • It's nice to hear that some people still care :)

  • Student run..thats cool! Thanks for the job you all do. Keep up the good work! Peace!

  • So where is your station now? I work for FedEx ground and deliver to both the warehouse and the campus book store every day just about. But I see where your old 69' used to be stationed now houses a first response unit.

I've been anxious to see that Hahn rig of yours.

  • oh cool, we made a video about franklin pierce!

  • Very cool..be safe!

  • That was a great video. Nice to see a student run FD. I did my undergraduate work at Goddard College and the College Dept was entirely student run. I was Fire Chief my last two years. Had a 1931 open cab Maxim 600GPM pumper when I started. Then we obtained a 1954 750GPM General from Federal surplus- cost $250! Those were the days!

  • saw u guy got a new hahn how did u pick that up

  • 2007 we got a donation from a former member who graduated 2006. Its from Oakhurst, NJ.

  • Greetings from a UC Davis student firefighter. Though students don't run the department here we make up a good part of the crew. Great video!

  • take a look at the Saltsburg Vol. Fire Dept. vid!

  • that was a cool video i give you guys a lot of credit for being able to run a department made up off all students that is unheard of where i am from in nj

  • Pretty cool video, I hear Rindge an Jaffery go out every once in awhile to FPC. I didn't realize you guys had your own dept. How big is your coverage area? Just the campus I would imagine.

  • Yea, All our members are Fire 1 Certified, and if they arn't we put them through a class taught by Rindge Fire and NH fire acadmemy. Our coverage area is primarly the campus, but we have been called to assist Rindge with opperations within their town and we also sent a crew out to Ipswich for a 30 acre brush fire about a year ago or so. We are always willing and able to help out the area. Stay tuned, in November a new documentary, 30 minutes long, will be uploaded.

  • Cool, now can you also be dispatched through KMA? Or just through the campus dispatch? I want to say I have heard you guys over the pager once before while I was at RIT training in Dublin, but I'm not 100% on that one.

  • I don't believe that we have ever been offically directly dispatched via KMA, we usually go through our own campus dispatch. But we do communicate on Tac 1 or tac 3 to Rindge Fire

  • to much talking

  • All members of the public, firefighters, and emergency personnel-The `establishment` has failed in their duty to tell you of this.. Google paddyanddollydotnet and read FIREBURN MEDIA ALERT, tell all your friends and,in case of severe fireburn keep that number in your back pocket 24 hours a day.

  • Sounds awesome! Do you have a website!?

  • Yes we do, its a bit old but mostly all the information on there is the same. We are currently going to do some Major changes to it, so it will be updated during the next academic year. We will have a link both here and on that New website to the new documentary which is going to be released in the Late Fall of next year.

If you have any questions about the Department feel free to message me.

  • Now I hear Rindge Fire responding to the College for Alarms and such quit a bit. Are they Automatic to you folks or is it set up some other way?

  • Currently FPC Fire is dispatched through the College's Campus Safety Dispatch, at the same time the College also contacts the local 911 dispatch (Keene Mutial Aid) and relays the same information to them that they give us.

They are automatic to all alarms, but sometimes they will send just an officer rather than a crew, if a cause has been determined (ie: hall sports or malicious pull) and no fire/smoke is present.

  • sounds like a neat department. from, ATL ENG23INE
