  • Intro is baddass! Anyone know where I can get the album?

  • the intro is from a classical piece, probably bach...can anyone find out which one it is?

  • @murakafkami Bach Fugue in G Minor. Ya they totally ripped it off...

  • The album cover looked awesome so I thought I would check it out.

    Pretty jazzy.

  • Hey, look up PMRC by the Bouncing Souls. You may find something a tad off here.... ..

  • The perfect alternative to deathcore

  • Perfection

  • I would kill to have that shit on a t shirt. Reminds me of that cover on Starship Troopers. Fucking badass.

  • i love the intro 0:00 - 0:40

  • THE LACK OF METAL DISTURBS ME

  • The use of Fugue in G Minor in the intro was pretty interesting. I like these guys.

  • excellent !! ...

  • continuo renacer, amogh symphony..

  • Thanks, there does seem to be loads of them coming out. All the better for the clean vocals.

  • Could someone recommend some amazing technical jazz metal bands with no singing or at least clean singing?

  • @jmsbk12345 I can say without a doubt that absolutely ZERO bands like that exist,or at least any that have put out an album.

The most metal with jazz influence is death metal or avant garde. Although I guess you could try "gallows gallery" by sigh.

  • @gameboy100894 If you really think that, google it. And a lot of Avant Garde/Jazz bands use clean vocals.

  • @jmsbk12345

Try Exivious, Akphaezia, Aghora. There's a lot more

  • @PunksDeadEmoK1dsN3xt dude. exivious is fucking awesome

  • @PunksDeadEmoK1dsN3xt aghora = good stuff.

  • @jmsbk12345 Try Diablo Swing Orchestra. Its got opera singing, but deff jazz metal.

  • @KramLlessur Thank you for your reply. DSO are my favourite avant-garde, jazz metal band. They are THE best and I already have everything by them.

  • @jmsbk12345 Hell yeah man. They're so damn good. 2nd favorite band for me. If you want something else, try out Polkadot Cadaver, The Alter Boys, or Dog Fashion Disco's album Adultery. These bands all have the same singer, and aren't completely jazz metal, but they have some songs that are.

  • @jmsbk12345 who is DSO? i'm interested in jazz metal as well.

  • @jsteele07189 DSO is the Diablo Swing Orchestra and in my opinion the most exciting, musical avant garde jazz metal band of them all. They've made two albums with a third coming soon. Their second album 'songs for the damned and delirious' is incredible. Let me know when you've heard the album and tell me what you think.

  • @jmsbk12345 whoa, DSO, man! that's crazy stuff. it's like, latin ballroom mixed with metal, with operatic vocals. cool

  • @jmsbk12345 SPIRAL ARCHITECT

  • @jmsbk12345 carcariass, minimal vocals

  • @jmsbk12345 Carbonized although the vocals aren't clean they aren't even in all songs.

Atheist also very good but once again the vocals...Check out their newest album regardless I find it sensational

  • @jmsbk12345 You should try looking into some djent bands.

  • @Gore1NOT1Core Yeah thanks, I already have some djent bands including Veil of Maya and Periphery.

  • @jmsbk12345 animals as leaders

  • @jmsbk12345 THE FACELESS

  • @jmsbk12345 There's Blotted Science, they only put out one album and they're somewhat jazzy... They're awesome though

  • @ScienceOfSkullFuckin Thanks for that. I already have the Blotted Science album. It is astonishing, 57 min roller coaster ride of incredibly heavy technical metal with jazz elements.

  • @jmsbk12345 There's a link on the side to Amogh Symphony which was mind-numbing... My brain melted in my skull from sheer levels of talent...

  • @ScienceOfSkullFuckin Yeah, I have the Amogh Symphony album thanks.

  • @jmsbk12345 Exivious, Scale the Summit, Gordian Knot, Amogh Symphony and Animals as Leaders.

  • @heero7yui Thanks for your reply. I am aware of all the bands you mention except Scale the Summit which I have just been listening to. Very interesting music.

  • @jmsbk12345 cynic

  • @jmsbk12345 cynic

  • @jmsbk12345 Maybe cynic, they sometimes do growls but in a lot of songs they include clean vocals. Try "textures".

  • @jmsbk12345 Exivious

  • Comment removed

  • @jmsbk12345 Sleep Terror , at least there early work did not have vocals just tech-death/jazz fusion...

  • @jmsbk12345

    try 'Behold.. The Artopus'

  • @jmsbk12345 Orbeth - Seventh Galaxy

  • @jmsbk12345 dude my band currently take advantage of metal like meshuggah and jazz/fusion like Holdsworth....more song to come...check it out

  • @jmsbk12345 Blotted Science

  • @hallavedet Thank you. Yes I have the Blotted Science 'Dementia' album. It is staggering.

  • @jmsbk12345 try out exivious, canvas, solaris, gordian knot, and dark hall which steve digiorgio plays bass on...tell me what you think

  • @nycbassist76 Thanks, I know about Exivious, Gordian Knot and Dark Hall. I'll check the others thank you.

  • @jmsbk12345 i also reccomend Atheist , Ominous , Cynic and the latest Animals as Leaders. Not so Jazzy i would say its closer to fusion approach.

  • What bach song is that intro I can't think if it

  • @Deathshade420 little fuga BWV 578

  • @Deathshade420 Which one?

  • Bach intro made me wet.

  • Fucking Nice Intro, good upload

  • please suggest me more such bands which employ keyboard with tech death...im a keyboardist fed up with power metal.

  • @SparkShredder Acid witch - the black witch Acid Witch - Witchtanic Hellucinations

  • @spoon149

    thanks man....i loved those songs...deep purple feel...if u get more...pls tell me....:)

  • @SparkShredder Acid witch has a new album out,

  • J-S Bach got owned on this intro, you have to admit it. \m/

  • love this song

  • hehe, cover definitely inspired by h.r. giger

  • ach man! ich dachte das lied wäre geil, weil der anfang ultra geil ist aber dann dieses gegrowle... ne nicht mein geschmack und ich finde dass sie das lied damit zerstört haben.

  • then go listening heavy or power metal or whatever if you dont like harsh vocals

  • I like power and heavy a lot, but death is just exactly my style !..! Happy fucking new year :)

  • @PunksDeadEmoK1dsN3xt - I was answering the german guy hehe

anyways thanks for uploading all your songs, guess I will spot lot of nice bands here

  • @PunksDeadEmoK1dsN3xt can you tell me how I can get a hold of there stuff?

  • @DeathToRealMetal

What I try and do most the time, is google the name of the band, find them on myspace, and ask them for the album. I think the best way to support a band is buying the album directly from the band. Sometimes they are more than happy to sign it for you !..!

  • @PunksDeadEmoK1dsN3xt that's true. and there's no shipping charges!:D

  • @PunksDeadEmoK1dsN3xt Do you buy everything you put on this site?

  • Interesting, these guys sound like they've been listening to some Paradise Lost or something, in addition to their techdeath. For starters, some of the riffs have this march of doom quality to them (check out 2:00 for starters); also, the keyboardist uses pad samples which at times sound a bit like an organ, or such.

Meh, you decide what it is yourself.

  • @InvisibleSandwichTM I'm one of the guitarists, and no one in the band listened to Paradise Lost! We were more into Morbid Angel, Immolation, etc, combined with classical music. We broke up in 2002.

  • @InvisibleSandwichTM Hey m8! Do you know who started off this specific riff? What is it characteristic for? It is actually present in all, literally, death metal. Was it Paradise Lost?
