This is the GI Joe I remember...not the movie that's about to come out. I do have a thought though. People were complaining about the Sci Fi element of the new movie to me. However, in the intro for the animated movie, I see Battle Android Troopers and Duke using a Jetpack to fly a bomb to the Cobra Command Ship in less then eight seconds. Is the new move really that far from the source material when you figure in the cartoon from the 80s?
